The best restaurantsof italian in Cork

16/11/2024: After 11 years in Ireland and testing restaurants,diner and other food location's, I have to say ,this restaurant is a benchmark in Italian food. Fresh modern and clean location. Outstanding menus and kitchen. A flavourful taste explosion from the starter to the desserts. Family friendly and a lot of space. If you look for authentic Italian food,this restaurant should be on the top of your list.

16/11/2024: Had a gorgeous meal. Risotto and Funghi were beautiful and then came a stunning tiramisu. The staff were so nice made us feel comfortable and we will definitely be back

23/11/2024: Went there for a nice evening with miss, it was lovely. The crew serving us were very friendly and professional. Food is great, tasty and great portion. Like many other comments, the focaccia is unreal. Good selection of wine, for every taste. Definitely would go back and recommend, but you need to book in advance 😁

02/12/2024: the food was in no way worth the price. 22 euros for carbonara is a scam. It's very crowded and you can see the dirty kitchen and cooks without uniforms or headgear. unacceptable behavior in the open kitchen. and the Italian owners speak excellent Arabic 😅

01/12/2024: We booked a table for lunch at 14:00 for 6 people table Everything was okay the food it's was very good but in the end one server came to the table at 15 40 saying that we have to leave because they are under pressure . We pay a bill for 307.67 € and they charge us 28€ for service because the add a 10% straight away in the bill for the tips . They not even live you decide to give a tips to then they just put in the bill even if you don't want to pay a tip they will charge you . And i think is no fair to do this i feel like i don't have choice because they want as to pay a 10 % extra by the face . The server told me that we didn't book a table which is not true because we called before to book the table and he told me like i said to as to leave at 16 :00 because they are more people waiting at 16:00 and he said to me that if we book a table before it's a different history then we can stay more time but we booked before so i don't know what he is talking about but i really don't like the way that he just push as to go from the table . Definitely i will not come back to this place because the way that they charge you obligatory for a money that is a option to pay for the costumer . And then for the old server that he didn't deal with us and came to tell as to go i think is so unfair .

28/10/2024: We were looking for a quick bite before a concert down the street at Coughlan’s Bar. Came here for a slice of pizza. They made us a fresh pizza that was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We could have eaten a whole pie! Excellent service and hospitality. This is a hidden gem!

31/10/2024: The pizza is incredibly tasty, but I had to wait more than half an hour, but I really liked it

28/10/2024: Went out of my way to visit this place while I was working at the Jazz Festival, place wasn't necessarily busy, waited 20 minutes after ordering a simple margherita pizza - noticed a group in front of me who arrived after me were getting their food. I asked at the till if my pizza was nearly ready, but it wasn't even put through the till and nobody knew about, yet there were at least 4/5 people working there at the time. Very disappointed, I never leave negative reviews but this really annoyed me. Considering how little seats are in the place, such a waste of time. The lady at the till was apologetic in fairness, despite not being the one who took my order in the first place - nothing from the guy who took my order though. There's human error, and then there's just complete incompetence.

05/11/2024: Modified Italian food, not passable overall.

03/11/2024: We came here today and we were given the table directly in front of the screen waiters or staff use, which means that we had waiters looking directly at us and our table for almost the whole time we were there. I felt really uncomfortable as someone was always there standing directly in front of our table. This table shouldn’t be there, or screen should be moved somewhere else so there is no staff constantly watching you. When it comes to food, I got Risotto Al Filetto, it was ok but small portion for €21.90, I wouldn’t order it again. Also garlic bread is just half a wrap with garlic butter on it. Tiramisu wasn’t good at all, I would say the worst I ever had and this place claims to be an Italian restaurant. Filling was runny, 95% of this dessert was just warm runny cream or whatever they used to make it, barely any coffee taste and almost no biscuit base, very disappointed. Paid almost €40 for my food and I am still hungry as portions were tiny. Staff were polite and made you feel looked after but food was average in my opinion.
