Oak Fire Pizza in Cork

Italiano Pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.

At the moment when we get in, three tables were free and three were occupied. Two of free tables were for six people, and one for four. Although it was only two of us, we asked if we can get one of tables for six, because table for four is next to the door, and delivery service is also operating though that door. We were rejected with explanation that those tables are reserved. We ordered two pizzas, one on a gluten free base, and one pint of beer, (they don't have gluten free beer). Order was served in 15ish minutes and then the personal were changed.(Shift) Then, a single person enters and asked for a table, and, now a new waiter points guest for one of free tables for six. Wich obviously were not reserved. Both pizzas were delicious and perfect in all ways. Gluten free base was the best one I had in ages. It would be nice if GF beer was available too. Staff were friendly and polite. Place is clean and well maintained. We will come back, but not at the table next to the door.

The pizza was excellent...thin crust, generous amount of toppings, and priced at a competitive rate. Staff is friendly and accommodating. There is seating inside and covered area with tables outside. No wait at lunch.

Perfect pizza and excellent service. We stopped here after not knowing where to eat for supper. So glad we stopped here. The pizza is so worth every penny - highly recommend getting one of the dipping sauces with it. Thank you for such a great meal & experience!

I have always liked Oak Fire since their first opening. I've read the reviews here and people are way too hard and critical in some of their comments in my opinion. You don't give a business a "one-star" for a payment system that is set up to ask for a tip before making the payment. That said, there are enough comments on here voicing dissatisfaction about the system to warrant it being changed. I'm surprised it hasn't been. The food was good. The pizza base was nice and the dough retained its elasticity . The tomato topping was tart and I'd suggest a little less sugar and a couple of basil leaves? The mozzarella cheese was good. The pizzas are cooked in a 'proper' oven. I'd rate it highly. Maybe better than the more expensive options next door. The drum and base music over the house system was a little indigestion inducing so I'd suggest more easygoing music. I asked for tapwater and ice with my meal, but this was immediately rejected. I understand needing to make sure every avenue for revenue is explored, but can I make a suggestion that if you order a sit-down meal then a bottle of tap water and a glass might be a given accompaniment? I don't want to drink coke. If you want a no-nonsense well-made pizza with not a long wait, go here. Ill be back. It's pizza done well with no fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Lovely attentive staff. Yummy piźza. Nice variety of menu options. Restaurant is cozy. Zack and team are so welcoming. We look forward to next time! 💖

Zach & the team were fantastic yesterday for the party. So helpful and nice. Food was delicious, drinks great. We will be back , highly recommend.

For a cheap meal this place was fine. I would go here again as the pizza was cooked perfectly with minimal burning. Most places that use this method burning the pizza but the chef here takes care. Thanks for the meal 😋

Excellent pizza, both the Carnivore & Mexican are top notch. Got the oak roasted potatoes too which are decent

Pizza was alright, tasted fine but nothing special. Ordered the hot one but it wasn’t spicy at all, and the sausage topping was a bit odd (not sure if it was the right pizza). Doughballs were nice though!
