The food was okay, but not authentic. The risotto was a bit over-seasoned and salty. The pasta had way too much cream. Italian was spoken in the restaurant. It's a shame that this didn't make the food more authentic. The wait time was reasonable. The service was polite.

Popped in here yesterday for quick bite with our toddler. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the food and atmosphere was lovely. My son loved his bolognese but he especially loved all the staff, he went off for a tour of the restaurant with the lovely owner! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Fabulous restaurant, they were kind enough to offer me seating during a busy time. The Spaghetti Carbonara was incredible, it's a lovely restaurant to visit, highly recommended!

Stumbled across this place at the end of a quiet road away from the busy high street. Portion size was impressive - food was served fresh, hot and delicious! Would return again in the future

Came by here for dinner and was throughly impressed. We had two glasses of Terre-Forti Nero d’Avola followed by Calamari, Penne Arranbiata and pepperoni pizza. All dishes were great. The cheese on the pizza was very authentic as was the pepperoni. The pasta was perfectly cooked and had a bit of heat to it. The service from Gabriela was great as was the atmosphere. I would recommend Il Padrino to travelers visiting Cork.

A very nice traditional Italian Restaurant in Cork. We were only in Cork for two days and we ate her on the last evening. Proper risotto and nice wine. Friendly service even though the restaurant was really busy. Worth a visit if you’re in the city.

One of the best options, in my opinion, in Cork city where you can celebrate an occasion in a fancy and delicious way. I’m a picky eater, but starters and pasta here were absolutely amazing, ended up eating them quite fast hehe.
