Il Padrino in Cork

Our party of four was looking for a place to eat dinner. While we enjoyed the Irish pub atmosphere, we wanted something different. We found this place by chance. Although we didn’t have a reservation and they were busy, they welcomed us and were very accommodating. Honestly, everything about this place exceeded our expectations: the food, the service, the friendliness of our servers, the atmosphere…I’d give them 10 stars if I could! We’re from the States but if we ever come back to Cork, we’ll be back!

Wonderful restaurant love the food. Had a penne pasta w/chicken. The pasta sauce was tasty beyond expectations, wonderful The folks that work there really want to please. Loved it

The food was amazing, highly recommend the Calamari, prawn fusilli, bruschetta… I think you could get anything on the menu and enjoy.

Had a meal this evening and it was fantastic, the food was amazing as were the staff. Looking forward to going back as it’s been awhile.

The whole experience was awesome and romantic. The food was very very good, and the atmosphere was lovely, with fresh roses and candles on every table. The staff were friendly, funny and attentive. I ordered a blood orange soda, and the waiter told my husband "she's a vampire" 😂 He also brought food and asked "for who's the lasagna?", I pointed towards my husband, and he then said " then this is for you" to me, because he was holding my pasta 🤣 Absolute gem. Really recommend this place 🌹

Beautiful food and friendly staff

I was on a date there several years ago and I brought my mam and dad there in April. Standards at the same high level, great choice on the menu, top class service. Love Il Padrino's. Top notch

They squeezed us in on a very busy Saturday, and the food and service was excellent.

Great Italian restaurant with affordable prices in Cork. Excellent food. Very friendly and attentive service. Our dog was immediately given water. The various dishes were all top-notch and plentiful. The menu offers something for everyone. We sat outside on the street, comfortably in the vestibule, with live music just 50 meters away. Inside, it's also very cozy with a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. Tables for 2-8 people. Reservations are recommended, depending on the day of the week.

Four of us came to Il Padrinos Friday and I can say hands down the best Italian I've had in years. I had a beef pasta and I dont think ive ever tasted anything like it. I was tempted to come in the following day for another one! We had arancini and brushetta to start and pasta all round -penne ruspanti, Fusilli Con Gamberreti and penne al filetto, Great service from all the staff. Can't wait to return!
