Il Padrino in Cork

A great Italian restaurant for a delicious and comfortable meal. The waiter, Alejandro, is very friendly and will make your visit wonderful.

Judging by the quality (of starters, main courses and desserts), service and Italian authenticity, ‘Il Padrino’ meets all expectations and far exceeds them. A special mention goes to the Spanish waiter, Alejandro, who took the experience to a whole new level.

Lovely place, would visit again

The food was okay, but not authentic. The risotto was a bit over-seasoned and salty. The pasta had way too much cream. Italian was spoken in the restaurant. It's a shame that this didn't make the food more authentic. The wait time was reasonable. The service was polite.

Popped in here yesterday for quick bite with our toddler. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the food and atmosphere was lovely. My son loved his bolognese but he especially loved all the staff, he went off for a tour of the restaurant with the lovely owner! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Very good food, especially the garlic bread. However, the wait for food can be quite long and this place is a hot spot for loud children.

Fabulous restaurant, they were kind enough to offer me seating during a busy time. The Spaghetti Carbonara was incredible, it's a lovely restaurant to visit, highly recommended!

Stumbled across this place at the end of a quiet road away from the busy high street. Portion size was impressive - food was served fresh, hot and delicious! Would return again in the future Staff were friendly, attentive and house wine was nice also.
