LA TANA in Cork

Was in Mr. Bradleys for a friend's birthday and said I'd call into La Tana to get some pizzas for my partner and I. I'd never had anything from La Tana but had heard great things and was excited to try it. When I got into the shop, I went up to order, but the person at the till cut me off and asked if I had cash, i said no, she told me to order online. So, WHILE IN THE SHOP, i had to download an app and order off of that. I watched this happen to several people after me. It would have taken less time for the person at the till to take my order than it did for me to download the app and pay through that. I understand if it's a cost saving measure, but given the price of the pizza, it doesn't appear to be having an affect. To the pizza itself, it was fine, but €23 for a 12" pizza is crazy. I justified it as a once off but to be honest, between the experience ordering and the price, I think I'll just be deleting the app again, because I won't be rushing back.

Great pizza! We were staying nearby and stopped in to order! They are cash only (we only had American cash) so they had us go to Mr. Bradleys right down the road, have a pint, use our card with cash back and they brought our pizza to us, and we paid them upon delivery. Great service.

Best pizza ever, we love La Tana 🍕

The pizzas here are usually fantastic, but they are just too expensive to justify regularly. As it stands, it’s a once every month or two kinda place, and even then I’m not sure it’s worth it for me versus cooking at home. Consistency can also be an issue here; when you’re paying 19 euro for a 10” pizza, it needs to be more than perfect. That aside, a good pizza here can be a real treat.

This is the nicest Pizza outside of Italy! Be sure to try the garlic dip alongside your pizza or crostini, there has to be something special in it, it's divine!! YUM

As a foodie who loves exploring different spots and trying all kinds of dishes, I recently decided to give Latana a try. I ordered the Tricolore pizza along with fresh-cut chips. The price is a bit on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it. The pizza arrived hot and delicious, with a great balance of flavors. You can really tell that all the ingredients are fresh, which makes a big difference. The staff are friendly, and what stood out the most to me was the pizza dough—it tastes freshly prepared and adds a lot to the overall quality. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for tasty, high-quality food!

I recently visited Latana Pizza Shop in Cork and had a really great experience. I ordered the Picasso pizza along with chips, cheese, and curry. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was served hot and fresh, which made it even better. The Picasso pizza had a great flavour and the chips with cheese and curry were very tasty. One thing that really stood out to me was the customer service. The staff were very polite, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They made the whole experience comfortable and welcoming. I was especially impressed that they asked for our suggestions on how they could improve their service. It’s not something you see everywhere, and it shows that they genuinely care about their customers and want to keep improving. I collected the order directly from the shop and it only took about 10 minutes for everything to be ready, which was very quick. The food was hot, fresh, and prepared perfectly when I arrived. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience at Latana Pizza Shop. Great food, fast service, and excellent customer care.
