The best restaurants in Cork

16/10/2025: Highly overrated. I found this place in Google maps as we were visiting Cork and desperately looking for a quick lunch. We were the only people who ordered food at that moment, however, it took a while to get it. It looked like there was only one stressed-out lady at the counter and the kitchen. Tea and coffee came quite fast, but we waited for pancakes and omelette around 20 min. Pancakes were hard and cold inside and omelette with "salad" meaning rocket with two blobs of ketchup. And THE WORST: I found LARGE pieces of EGGSHELL inside.

12/10/2025: Had a lovely vegan sandwich here, the service was great and the value was incredible.

24/03/2026: Arrowhae (if misspelled i apologise) was our server, and absolute pleasure. She was so bubbly and helpful. Food was to die for. Highly highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Wonderful Restaurant Exceptional service by Mr. Álvaro, fantastic SUGGESTIONS. BRILLIANT professionalism, sensitivity in making the right choices. Thank you to Mr. Álvaro. French onion soup, Creamy burrata, Confit duck leg, Angus cheek based on Burgundy sauce, Roast beef rib. Everything was wonderful.

20/03/2026: My daughter Ava played music there with her friend a number of times. She is a very professional accomplished musician. She got great feedback from the customers who enjoyed the musc. The Kingsley used her and never laid her or her friend for the music performance 's. This behaviour cannot and should not be tolerated by this establishment. This is iny opinion is exploitation. These girls are now dissalussioned. This behaviour is totally unacceptable. John Hallinan Ava's Dad.

11/03/2026: Fabulous hotel! The outdoor heated pool overlooking the River Lee was a highlight—so relaxing with a beautiful view. Highly recommended! ✨

09/12/2025: Nice and pleasant place, the waitress was very friendly and the chai latte was very good 🤗

20/11/2025: Cool café right on the River Lee with some outdoor tables. Delicious, handmade pastries and excellent coffee. Friendly service behind the counter. It was very noisy during our visit because a large group of young tourists was also in the very small space... but that shouldn't be the norm!

27/09/2025: Wonderful cocktails, great music and ambience, and I cannot say enough good things about the people that work here. I celebrated my 30th birthday AND engagement here, and my fiancée and I were shown such incredible hospitality by everyone we interacted with. I wish I could remember our bartender’s name, he truly made the night special. It’s been a month since we returned from Ireland, and our night at Paladar is one of our favorite memories from the whole trip. Highly recommend spending your time and money here!

20/09/2025: The atmosphere was good but was pressurized to finish the dinner for the next customer. I understand the time limit on the table but since we sat down we were reminded on several occasions the time limit which made us feel unwelcome.

01/12/2025: One of Corks best pubs. Suitable for all age demographics. Decent live music and sport on the TV. Lovely creamy pints of stout too

14/09/2025: If you are willing to spend a bit more than the usual price for a breakfast, you can have a truly delicious experience here. Like chef-level type of experience. Not to mention that the place is spacious and luminous, the views are fantastic, the service is top-notch, and you can have a lovely walk through the gardens (and the nun's cemetery too). And learn some history.

23/03/2026: I love this place I used to go here with my dad the food is tasty and the service is great and the lunch menu deals are really cheap which makes it 10 times better

04/09/2025: So many savory options! Best Italian I have had since going vegan. Got there, given an hr wait, went nexdoor til she called us over earlier than expected, and she waited a little extra while we finished our pints. Kind service staff. Loved the fresh ingredients. My pesto ravioli with sweet potatoes was fantastic. The linguine were perfectly al dente and we could see them being made. Saved room for dessert, the strawberry hill was delicious. All so perfectly balanced, really. Try the appetizers! We got the socca farinata. My Omni bf and I (vegan) thought this was some of the best food we've had. Cozy, romantic, welcoming, & affordable, too.

06/03/2026: Ordered a Lamb Vindaloo, which is always arisk as they’re usually nowhere near hot enough in Irish Indian restaurants. This was delicious! Hot , spicy but full of flavour.

05/03/2026: We've eaten here a few times, the food has been consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable. We really appreciate all the vegetarian / vegan options and how lovely the owners are.

11/09/2025: Went along for the trad session this evening supposedly from 6pm, hoping to play, but unfortunately it had been cancelled so no tunes fix for me. Not quite sure why- one or two other bemused musicians floating around. Nice enough pub otherwise though.
