08/07/2025: Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a pub, having worked in pubs for nearly 15 years I understand you can get busy but at least acknowledge the customer.
10 mins to even get served, paid for the pint and waited over 10 mins to watch a half poured pint sit there so I left.
I'm sure this establishment is fantastic but on this occasion this wasn't a good experience.
29/06/2025: South County is a modern pub with a lovely old fashioned feel. Comfortable seating and never too loud. Live music is a regular occurrence.

01/07/2025: In Ireland, this restaurant and its sister restaurant, Ichigo Ichie, are the only places where you can eat proper Japanese food. Whatever you eat, it never disappoints. There's a line before the restaurant opens every weekend, but it's worth the wait.
I've been to this restaurant many times since it opened, and it's amazing how the quality hasn't changed even after the owner chef moved to the sister restaurant. This time I ordered shrimp bukkake soba to go. It was delicious as always.

04/08/2025: Ordered two pizzas on Deliveroo. N'duja is fine, though every second slice has the n'duja which was a bit scabby.
The Bianco pizza has potato on it that is massively undercooked. We've had to pick the potato off as a result which was wasteful.
Other issue is that the bases here aren't crispy at all. It's very gloopy and doughy. Think they're banging these out without properly cooking. Major shame as the quality of the toppings (bar the raw potato) are really good.
04/08/2025: Very busy pizza kitchen at the Franciscan Well Brewery. Lively and busy atmosphere when visited midweek in summer. Very good pizza with great flavoursone toppings, but you have to get into a queue to order.

12/08/2025: Really enjoyed here, nice vibe to the place. We stopped in here for dinner and a few beers. Fish and chips was delicious, lovely light batter. Also had the steak, it was perfect although with a €4 surcharge it was quite small. Servers were very friendly and easy going. Would definitely return again.

10/07/2025: Old Rustic bar in South Main Street, the City Center of Cork. Across from the old Beamish and Crawford Brewary, there's a lot of history in the area. There's a younger crowd frequenting it now, and they have some seating outside. The staff are nice as is the atmosphere.
