Its the real deal. We had the best seats possible, right next to the band. I hope it continues this way for a long, long time. Just like I remember 25 years ago.

A small, charming pub; it fills up quickly, so arrive early. There's usually a local band playing live, giving it a very authentic atmosphere.

We wish we found this pub on night one in Cork. Every night proper traditional sessions playing. Good selection of local pints along with the usual Beamish and Guiness. Several Ciders available like Stonewell in a bottle and Orchard Theives on tap. Also a couple good local IPAs. Close quarters like a true small pub.

Costigan's Pub

09/09/2026: We had a pre-wedding family get together here, and it worked out great. We had snacks from the pub and we ordered drinks individually from the bar.

22/09/2026: Fantastic bar with great service and even better martinis. Came back for small plates dinner and sat at the lovely outdoor courtyard. A wonderful oasis in the middle of a vibrant city
21/09/2026: Things have changed unfortunately The cocktails we recieved had u huge singular ice cube which took up 90 percent of the glass so the drink was equivalent to a shot.Got the cheese board also ,it was anothing compared to what it used to be the quantity was a third the size it was last year but still the same price..Staff are great and very helpful, its always been a beautiful bar but I don't think I will get food or cocktails there again.
