We stayed two nights and went back because we enjoyed it so much. A good Guinness and a very varied spirits and whisky menu. Live music from 9 to 11 p.m. The venue has a very thoughtful decor; it's huge and somewhat labyrinthine.

Boru Coffee Shop

31/12/2025: I got a takeaway americano here. The coffee is good but the staff couldn’t be less interested as one of their friends was there. €3.40 for the smallest cup is definitely up there in cost as coffee goes.
30/12/2025: The coffee was excellent and the service was very good. Asking for a tip on the pay machine is over the top though.

17/04/2026: Fantastic evening, super music session and crazy pints. Old school hospitality and so welcoming. My first visit but definitely not my last.
26/01/2026: There were three very skilled boys playing what sounded very much like pub music, and the atmosphere perfectly complemented that. A girl who was studying Irish dance taught some of the boys; it was a very good experience.
