Umi in Cork

For the quality and freshness of the wholesome food being served, this is the best eaterie I've found in Cork so far. Prices are cheap to mid-budget, with a 'takeaway' feel to the place (so don't expect cosy restaurant-style ambience), but don't let that put you off. The servings are very generous and everything tastes like it's been freshly prepared using the finest available ingredients. The fried cauliflower is some of the best I've tasted, the baba ganoush IS the best I've ever tasted, and everything just screams flavour, good health and nutrition. There are also some healthy drink options, including kombucha and fresh fruit juice. If you crave an alternative to the ubiquitous burger/chicken, fries and coke, Umi Falafel perfectly fits the bill. Well worth tracking down, and I shall definitely be returning to try more from the menu.

Excellent find! A vegetarian restaurant, so accessible for Muslims. The food was delicious and the staff lovely. You can go there without hesitation.

Really delicious, very friendly, and a huge selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. And above all, very affordable by Irish standards.

We had a nice bowl with chickpeas, fried aubergine, grille vegetables, hummus, tomatoes, tahini, and delicious falafels!

Ordered Cauliflower Fritters, Falafel Bites and The Lebanese Falafel. All three dishes were amazing. Great vibe. Highly recommend.

We had a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere 😊. We ordered a vegetarian shower without realizing the "meat" wasn't meat; it was incredibly well done. I'll definitely be back ❤️

First time here always want to come but my husband is more meat eater. This time we wanted something light and it was super choice, amazing smiling staff and food so fresh and tasty. We had hummus and baba ghanoush, cauliflower bites and hallumi. Great that bread is served warm, thanks for this place will visit soon again.

Always love coming here. Delicious food, reasonably priced and the nicest staff. Almost all dishes are vegan.
