Umi in Cork

We're lucked out--or manifested the perfect place. Our taxi driver dropped us off right in front of Umi Falafel and we spent about 60 secs searching online for a vegan lunch spot but abandoned that idea and decided to go inside Umi. So glad that we did! The food was amazing. Perfect falafel - flavorful and not dry. Melt in your mouth good. We had the Umi burger with falafel and babaganoudh and the Schwatma wrap and a side of stuffed vine leaves and baklava. All were perfectly prepared, delicious, filling, and vegan! The staff was exceedingly friendly and even let us use their hotspot. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

Amazing restaurant. The food feels like somebody sprinkled glitter onto your tastebuds. I was so excited to eat Lebanese cuisine, and it delivered. Our waitress was nice and she allowed us to eat in during takeout time. Though thankfully we finished before the shop closed. I’d highly recommend their Umi Burger. This restaurant also has a lot of Vegan options so if you’re Vegan you’d definitely enjoy this place too!

got the palestinian falafel wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it! the service is quick and friendly, and the place is clean. would definitely recommend for a fast and yummy bite, plus it's vegan friendly!!

Very nice falafel and good portion size for the price

Great place to have some great Vegetarian affairs. The quality and taste are great. Loved the Salad and Falafel. Though not a coffee shop, the coffee here was great, better than few names, only if you are a coffee buff can take out those subtle nuances. Definitely worth visits again. The staff too are very cheerful and if you are new, takes out time to explain the menu. The portion size is a plus, was more than enough for me.

The food tastes really delicious, the falafel is perfectly made. The tables should be cleaned better after a guest leaves.

For the quality and freshness of the wholesome food being served, this is the best eaterie I've found in Cork so far. Prices are cheap to mid-budget, with a 'takeaway' feel to the place (so don't expect cosy restaurant-style ambience), but don't let that put you off. The servings are very generous and everything tastes like it's been freshly prepared using the finest available ingredients. The fried cauliflower is some of the best I've tasted, the baba ganoush IS the best I've ever tasted, and everything just screams flavour, good health and nutrition. There are also some healthy drink options, including kombucha and fresh fruit juice. If you crave an alternative to the ubiquitous burger/chicken, fries and coke, Umi Falafel perfectly fits the bill. Well worth tracking down, and I shall definitely be returning to try more from the menu.

Excellent find! A vegetarian restaurant, so accessible for Muslims. The food was delicious and the staff lovely. You can go there without hesitation.
