Sultan Cafe Restaurant in Cork

Took missus for valentines meal and it was perfect. Couldn't eat meat as it was ash Wednesday so tried vegetable tagine and it was epic. Highly recommend

If I compare it to some of the labanese restaurants in the UK, I'd say the taste is not half as good and the food is very expensive.

Decent overall experience. Some menu options were not available, and our waitress recommended bottled water with an unfortunate explanation as to why we needed bottled water. It's hard to judge a local Mediterranean restaurant when I'm only a passing through tourist. If half stars were allowed, this would be 3.5 stars.

The restaurant is nice and the service is good. However, the food is very adapted to Irish taste and lacks Middle Eastern flavour. I think Irish/foreigners tend to like it, but Middle Easterners will find it tasteless.
