20/09/2025: Great spot, had a lovely sausage roll and then very nice coffee cake and Chai latte. Only thing is the place is popular so it's often full. I went around 11 on a Monday and by 12 it was full up

15/09/2025: It is my favourite coffee shop (and imo the best one) in Cork. The staff is the best. So lovely! The coffee is amazing. Always on point. They've got some bites if you're hungry (the chef/baker is amazing) and the sweets... 🤤 The sweets!!! That brownie is by far the best I've had around here. Some of the best coffee shop cakes in Cork for sure. Oh and the friendly atmosphere... Highly recommended! ❤️

25/02/2026: My first time trying Lebanese food and it was a nice experience. The food was fresh and filling. Staff were so attentive and friendly. I had a cocktail which was delicious and priced very well. Overall, so worth a visit here. Will be back.

25/02/2026: Been away for a few months. Popped into the elm tree for Sunday lunch. Just as good as all ways, still good value, food still great except the roast potatoes, just too crispy.

18/02/2026: Beautiful surroundings, delicious cocktails and a very nice barmen with a beard who makes cocktails.

20/02/2026: Waited an hour for food to be served. The food then came out wrong for my meal which I sent back. Infairness they cooked a fresh one but by the time it was ready everyone I was with was ready to go. We payed but the waitress called us back and double charged us.

20/02/2026: Something for everyone. Great Irish fare, prompt, cheerful service; lively but not crazy. The place was cooking.

18/02/2026: Food was only ok but we ordered takeaway for 7pm, a few hours in advance, we arrived to collect it and were waiting half an hour. People kept arriving after us who had clearly ordered for later times and getting their food. I asked a number of times and was told they were busy. When we finally got our food, the order was wrong so we had to wait another 15 mins to get it corrected, by which time the other food was nearly cold. And then the food wasn't even that good, it was only ok. Update: The owner rang the next day to apologise and give me a €30 voucher.

09/02/2026: Best atmosphere and service . The menu is wide and accommodated gluten free, vegetarian and meant lovers. Brownie is excellent with ice cream, though a bit more chocolate sauce would elevate it. Burgers are great with plenty of vegetarian options, and chip portions are generous. Starters, especially the paneer, are delicious. Chicken burgers is juicy and loaded.

17/10/2025: I was having breakfast this morning, I order eggs Benedict, and I think the rashers were cooked the last year. Be careful with the ingredients guys.. it's really annoying.

16/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere. Street side seating also.

14/10/2025: Old Rustic bar in South Main Street, the City Center of Cork. Across from the old Beamish and Crawford Brewary, there's a lot of history in the area. There's a younger crowd frequenting it now, and they have some seating outside. The staff are nice as is the atmosphere.

07/10/2025: Nice pub. Good music. Not the best beer selection. Used to have real candles on each table with wax spilling over the bottle they were in, now changed for fake candles. It's a pity, it was part of what made it a cosy pub.

01/01/2026: Friendly local pub, Great pint of Beamish, a good age mix here, well worth a visit.

20/01/2026: Had evening meal on a Tuesday evening. Brilliant food, quick service and reasonable. Had starter between 3, 3 mains, 2 deserts and 3 coffees and all came to just shy of €100. Would definitely come back.

05/01/2026: Steak alfredo was excellent, cost to quality ratio is still on par, 17.50 for the dish but in fairness I felt it was worth it. Alot of places you feel you didn't get value but I can't say that here

24/12/2025: First time trying out Golden fry, ordered food for the whole family, and no one was disappointed! Really good address, I recommend them 100%

04/01/2026: Lovely place for brunch with a unique menu. One of our party was a bit disappointed they couldn't get scrambled eggs with their breakfast, but they enjoyed their poached eggs all the same.

01/01/2026: Brunch here was stellar. The pancetta hash was savory and addictive while the ricotta pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've ever had! Great smoothies as well! Love that you can sit outside too. This is the place to go in Cork for breakfast!
