The best restaurants in Cork

16/08/2025: Dirigido por la gente del restaurante Market Lane favorito de la ciudad. Bajó para un almuerzo de cumpleaños del momento de North Cork y no le decepcionó. Amy nos sirvió y ella era muy atento. Compartimos un plato turco y Mezze (libanés) para empezar. Luego 2 ensaladas de pollo, 2 panes planos de bistec y un sándwich de tocino regado con rociadores de jengibre, cerveza Elbow Lane lager (también elaborada por ellos) y cerveza de jengibre. Todas las comidas tenían una opinión ligeramente diferente de la que uno esperaría - lo que hizo un gran almuerzo.

31/07/2025: Muy buen restaurante en un entorno muy agradable. Nos sentamos en el conservatorio (la habitación con el vidrio) que es muy luminoso y acogedor. Hay otra habitación, que en mi opinión es un poco oscuro y menos acogedor. Tuvimos una comida muy agradable; buena elección de entrantes, principales y desiertos y una buena elección de vino. El personal era muy amable y atento.

25/07/2025: Scoozis is one of our favourite restaurants in Cork city. As a coeliac, I especially appreciate their range of gluten-free options. The food is always delicious, the service is so quick and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

23/08/2025: We went for breakfast and it was very good. We ordered the American breakfast, which included two pieces of toast, scrambled eggs, and your choice of main course. It also included juice and coffee or tea. The pancakes were also good. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

23/08/2025: A well-maintained restaurant in one of Cork's busiest areas. The food leans toward traditional fare with a twist. The Scotch Eggs are good but overly spicy, while the meat-based main courses are excellent. The service is fast and attentive. Recommended if you're passing through. (We didn't have to book.)

21/08/2025: The prawn starter was fantastic. Unfortunately the mains was not as good. The fries were obviously blanched several times and were greasy and yellow. There was senior waiter on duty with an obviously inexperienced waitress who was doing a good job but he made it known she was in training to some if the patrons which was bad form. Everyone starts somewhere so I gave her the tip directly.

13/08/2025: A Fantastic venue located in Ballincollig Cork City. We visited today I had the corned beef absolutely delicious. I will definitely return.

12/08/2025: ¡Qué delicioso desayuno! Servicio súper rápido. Buena comida, porciones bastante grandes. Se sentía local y el precio era tan razonable. Me gustaría comer aquí una y otra vez!

31/07/2025: I had a full Irish breakfast earlier. Such great value for 12 euro, it is absolutely huge. The food is fresh, tasty and so filling. The owners seem like lovely people too. There is a very nice vibe in this cafe. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

29/06/2025: I certainly don't know how to describe this place, but I'll do it somehow. We went by chance for a coffee one day mid-morning. I was surprised by the atmosphere both inside and on the small and charming terrace. A lovely, cheerful, and friendly girl served us with a big smile on her face. The coffees were made with great care. The service was provided by an outgoing and very helpful guy. Espresso was very good and the latte was even better. We returned a second and third time. This last time, to order the soup of the day. Excellent Italian-style soup. The only flaw was that it ran out too soon. I don't know what else to add, but the price is very reasonable. We will definitely return every time we visit this beautiful city. Thank you, Tara's Tea Rooms, for offering your service.

02/08/2025: Nos hablaron de DAN Lowery sirve un gran Guinness, y no nos decepcionó. Un caballero de la tienda de ropa Saville Men’s recomendó esta taberna como un lugar donde siempre lleva a su madre cuando está en Cork. El barman era un propietario perfecto, tuvimos una gran charla después del Lyon v Australia Rugby y recomiendo encarecidamente esta taberna como un buen sabor de Cork. Gracias por hacer que mi esposa y yo nos sintamos tan bienvenidos e incluidos.

02/08/2025: Genuinely my favourite place to get a delicious coffee/snack in the city. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Lovely spot by the river on a sunny day. Would definitely recommend.

16/08/2025: We went on a team night out and the place and atmosphere of this place is class. It might look very small at the outside but very big on the inside.Their servers was very approachable and accommodating as well. Food was ok for me. I would say my expectations were a little bit not met. For a 30-40 euro steak, I would have expected that the steak is at least seasoned which was not. The sharing platter as well was a little bit small for me. I expected at least a couple of meats and more cheese on a meat and cheese board but as you can see on the picture that’s their sharing board and you can see on the menu how much that is. My teammates enjoyed their veggie board and they were delighted with the taste. Their desert was great as well. Overall still a good experience. Just get your wallets ready as food can be pricey.

12/08/2025: Calm atmosphere Homemade cuisine and quality dishes, carefully prepared. Balanced meal. Attentive staff. I highly recommend it 😇
