13/04/2025: Paradiso is my favourite restaurant in Cork. The food is always beautifully presented and delicious. It's a set menu, so be prepared to spend a bit more than usual, but it's absolutely worth it. They are happy to adjust things to suit dietary restrictions or avoid strong dislikes. The service is impeccable - pleasant and attentive, but never overbearing. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or a catch-up with a good friend.

03/05/2025: Absolutely divine! We were seated at the bar as it was quite busy for a Saturday night at 8pm but it was lovely. Very lovely and the food was 10/10. I had the soup of the day and hubby had the chicken and mash. Both of us wiped the plates clean. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

20/04/2025: We were celebrating my mother in laws 91st birthday beautiful table and sitting put the service and food delays let it all down .
Some of us had finished our starters and mains when the others got there's.
Now they did through in a free bottle of wine .
Put really a manger should have checked in with us at times to see was everything OK.
No boby did .
Also we had to ask for candle on dessert ..
When we arrived they had justed opened..

19/04/2025: I had great time on my whiskey tasting, my host Finlay was really knowledgeable in history and arts and crafts of making proper Irish whisky. I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to know history of Irish whisky and enjoys a good glass of one to visit and book whisky tasting in Shelbourne!!

24/03/2025: What a lovely surprise! I discovered the cafe yesterday for a quick snack and I have been more than delighted by the experience!
I was not hungry enough so just took some chips (amazing!) and a croissant which was delicious. I will definitely come back to try the veggie or vegan breakfast 😋.
Jane is so nice and warm and very attentive to people’s experience. Thanks again!

10/03/2025: I really dislike the QR code menus, not everyone has a smart phone and it's really not a nice way to start your dining experience staring at a screen trying to read an overly wordy & complicated menu. If the issue is saving paper, small chalkboard menus could be used - it would certainly force them to make the menu more concise & easily readable. As for the food, it is pretty good, but not amazing. (EDIT: that is great that folder menu is now available, this makes it much more likely for me to return - I hope they are replacing the QR code and don't have to be "asked" for)

16/04/2025: Anoche reservé este lugar para desayunar esta mañana. Escuché que fue genial. Cuando entramos, el lugar estaba lleno de humo de la sartén, y el chef parecía estar solo sin personal de espera evidente presente. Le dije al chef que había reservado una mesa, pero parecía no saber o no estar interesado y dejó la comida frita en la sartén en la cocina para despejar nuestra mesa. Lamentablemente el lugar estaba tan ahumado, y no había ventanas ni puertas abiertas para aliviar el humo. Fue completamente incómodo. La gente sentada parecía cómoda, sin embargo, pero el lugar era tan espeso con humo de fritura gris que informamos al chef que cancelábamos, le dimos las gracias y nos fuimos.
