The Farmgate Cafe in Cork

Amazing lunch great choices and excellent staff 👌

We were here on a Saturday and while there was a queue, it was only a short wait. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good. However, the food was disappointing. We had the Irish Lamb Stew and Risotto, which were bland. The mushroom vol-au-vents were good. Overall, the portion sizes were small, especially for the price and taste.

I don't describe the dishes because the miracles are impossible to describe. Everything delicious. Chowder is the poetry of taste. I highly recommend it to everyone. Cider is amazing. I invite you to try it.

The fry up was very good but the €5 for the pot of tea with it was a bit much. Busy place, and it's up a stairs so not for everyone.

The food was nice, especially desserts. The place was busy and the services was okay. They ran out of pink lemonade and the waiter decided to order something else for us without us ordering though. They ended up putting the pink lemonade on the bill even though they ran out of it. A bit confusing. But other than that, everything was great.

A must when in Cork City. Excellent service and good to die for. Great prices. Such friendliness from other customers as well.

Had lunch here on a very busy Saturday. Food was great Service was excellent how they manage in such tight spaces amazes me . Really enjoyed it all
