The Woodford in Cork

The food is very good and quite affordable. The service was a bit slow, but they take great care of their customers (they even brought us candy at the end of the service, a small gesture but a nice one). The atmosphere is magical. A truly beautiful Cork pub where we dined with live music (well, that's true). It happens pretty much everywhere, but I have to say that the guy playing, combined with the atmosphere, made the evening very enjoyable. The only complaint was that the air conditioning was on when it was twenty degrees Celsius; it was a bit chilly.

If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich in Cork, this is absolutely the place. This is one of the best chicken sandwiches “burgers” I’ve had and I stand by that. The seasoned fries were also very good. 80s music playing in the background, the atmosphere was also excellent.

Friendly staff, and really good food. Dined here for lunch today (01/08/26). Will definitely be back.

Decor a bit tired for a gastro-pub but the food, drink and service was fabulous. Would definately go again if visiting Cork!

Went Sunday afternoon and had roast beef dinner, really good, and a fine pint of Beamish.

Great atmosphere, the outdoor area is very friendly. The musician was fantastic. Around €7 a pint.
