We went there for dinner. The food was good. The girls who served us were very friendly. Dinner is open until 9:00. Live music.

Great atmosphere and set up inside the pub! Bit of a hidden gem as we ended up just stumbling past. Had one of the most tender delicious steaks I’ve had in my life and my partner had the tacos which were a generous portion. Highly recommend and top quality for the price. Server was a Spanish or South American lady who was very attentive and pleasant to deal with!

They were very considerate for my friend who is vegan and when she reserved table said one vegan but no hassle if can't cater for that vegetarian would be fine. They showed the chef and he made a special vegan Guinness stew fir her which she was thrilled with and said it was a beautiful dinner. So we'll done to the staff and especially the chef. We were there on wed 4th feb. We will definitely be bk. Thank you so much .

Always when I am in cork I visit this wonderful pub. Very kind staff, amazing beers (one of the best Guiness in cork) and very homely environment.

Myself and my mother both got a lamb shank. The service was fantastic. The meat was tender and falling off the bone which was absolutly delicious. Have had many lamb shanks but none to this standard. I would highly recommend the Woodford.

The Woodford is a typical Irish pub with a warm atmosphere and unpretentiously friendly staff. The food is decent and fairly priced. Recommended.

18/12/2025: Amazing cozy place. Great menu and fantastic service. I tried their quesadillas and fries ! It was fantastic. Pink lemonade was also soo good. Ended by meal with the best apple crumble.
11/11/2025: Generous food portions and great service! We visited on a rainy day, so we ended up sitting indoors, but the atmosphere was still lovely. Would love to come back and try the terrace seating next time; it looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a nice meal with a view.

04/05/2025: Tried to eat there last night and it was PACKED! Had my dinner there tonight so…upon entering I was accommodated at a table that was reserved; yes I was informed it was reserve for 2 hrs later. Fair as I was alone so it wasn’t an issue. The staff were exceptional! So kind and considerate. My meal came SO fast & thank goodness for that because I was starving. My salad was fresh and tasty! Nice chunks of avocado too. My chicken supreme was SO SO GOOD! I normally don’t eat cauliflower so I gave it a taste tonight and ended up eating it. That goes to show on how well prepared everything was right down to the cauliflower. Highly recommend when in Cork!
03/04/2025: Very good food, i noticed many bad reviews mostly about the price being too high, if people complain about it being too much they should go to the local chippers. Very good service and interior.
