Best breakfast I've ever had, very busy but customers flow in and out quickly, food cooked very fast, loved it. Price is very reasonable for a big feed.

Absolutely gorgeous breakfast. Large portions. Staff really friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back. Huge menu with a great selection. When you see local people eating there you know you have found a gem!

The Long Valley

25/08/2026: Finally got to get a sandwich here. Finally got a little corner table inside. On previous visits I've been relegated to standing outside or standing in the way of others, but you can see why it's popular. Everyone who worked here had a good vibe about them, the taplist is vast and caters for all, and the food was coming out like a well oiled machine - efficient, hearty, consistent. I'd come back and stand, happily. But I'm glad I got to get in early and see it step into gear as Sunday got off the ground. Will remain one of my favourites in Cork.
19/08/2026: Fantastic bar in the city centre. Friendly staff and the toasted sandwiches are incredible! Well worth a visit.

The Spitjack, menu

26/08/2026: Congratulations, Teh Spitjack. We stumbled upon this very quaint place by chance. We had a great time; the food was good and plentiful. The lady who served us, Miss Atqiya, was superb. Thank you.
26/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Cork! We had a marvelous time at SpitJack for our daughter's birthday, and everything came together to make this occasion truly special. The welcome was particularly warm: a smiling, lovely team who were above all very attentive, paying real attention to our needs. We truly appreciated their kindness and the little touches that make all the difference on a birthday. And the food was delicious! Everything was wonderful, generous, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and lively, while still being very pleasant for a family meal. A big thank you to the entire SpitJack team for their hospitality and for helping to make our daughter's birthday even more special. We highly recommend this place if you're ever in Cork!
