13/10/2025: Burgers are top notch and the fried pickles cured my hangover

12/10/2025: I'll keep this one quick. 5 Stars all around, fast, friendly and delicious. First night of our 8 day trip around Ireland and the hotel front desk raved about Son of a Bun. They were not wrong, we didn't need anything fancy, just good vibes and tasty burger and prefect fries to go along. When in Cork get the double patty with cheese!

03/10/2025: Delicious food, especially the hake nanban don, a type of pork, rice, and soup. The service was also very friendly and fast.

25/10/2025: Owner stole my seat while gone to get drinks for me and a friend and threatened to kick us out if we didn't comply. Don't come here on a busy night.

27/10/2025: We stumbled on this restaurant after not being able to get into a different one. It was a great find! The food was incredible, the staff was amazing, and they were extremely kid-friendly! They provided us with a great experience on a busy evening, getting us in quickly even though we did not have a reservation.

04/11/2025: I had a really nice mocha , perfect for a rainy day. The place is small and cozy, which I liked. However, the service was a bit slow and disorganized, and the staff didn’t seem very friendly. Still, it’s a nice spot to relax with a good coffee.

08/11/2025: It’s the little things that count and In many of these Fota are failing. One of our party ordered a coffee and asked for a biscuit to accompany it but was told you can’t have a biscuit until after 4- how stupid is that! At dinner steaks were only offered ho share for 2 people- crazy! In general the food was fine but not fantastic and certainly not great value for money. If you charge top prices you need to deliver top class food! Three times during our one night stay the room key failed to open the door which required another trip to reception for a new key. For a 5 star hotel this is simply not acceptable Fota resort needs to up its game and certainly improve its F/ B offering so I’m afraid it’s only 3 stars from me

25/10/2025: One of the best pubs in Cork City. Great relaxed atmosphere and pizza and pints are stunning !

09/10/2025: The atmosphere is incredible, the bar has a pet-friendly garden which makes the environment even cooler, a great place to go with friends and their punt is simply wonderful.

11/11/2025: Great food & coffee. Freshly made burek was fantastic. Super friendly service. As a bonus, dog friendly 😊 which is unique in itself throughout Ireland.

20/10/2025: Staying over night in a nearby hotel and popped in for dinner. Mary our server was tremendous, she made us feel welcome which made the experience that much better. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

14/10/2025: Old Rustic bar in South Main Street, the City Center of Cork. Across from the old Beamish and Crawford Brewary, there's a lot of history in the area. There's a younger crowd frequenting it now, and they have some seating outside. The staff are nice as is the atmosphere.

07/10/2025: Nice pub. Good music. Not the best beer selection. Used to have real candles on each table with wax spilling over the bottle they were in, now changed for fake candles. It's a pity, it was part of what made it a cosy pub.

30/09/2025: Perfect cafe for a quick bite or brunch. Coffee they serve is perfect. We also got mango smoothie which tasted heavenly. The sandwiches we ordered were absolutely tasty as well.
