Fantastic brunch with my boys (8&9). They had the kids pancakes and the kids cheeseburger (great size). Food was lovely. Decor is a bit disappointing. Not very cosy or inviting, bit mismatched. Service was good, not overly friendly. Had to ask twice for ketchup. But will be back for the food.

Arrived 5 mins before they closed withna party of 5 as we didnt know they closed early. We offered to leave and they insisted we stay. No rush what so ever with them and food was amazing.. Will definitely be back.. Juat amazing.

Too much to choose from on the menu, or maybe that's just me. Opted for the breakfast bap. First bite intriguing, warming flavors very satisfying. The chutney complimented the potato and sausage, the egg was melt in the mouth. Good start to the day, we'll be back.

The Long Valley

25/08/2026: Finally got to get a sandwich here. Finally got a little corner table inside. On previous visits I've been relegated to standing outside or standing in the way of others, but you can see why it's popular. Everyone who worked here had a good vibe about them, the taplist is vast and caters for all, and the food was coming out like a well oiled machine - efficient, hearty, consistent. I'd come back and stand, happily. But I'm glad I got to get in early and see it step into gear as Sunday got off the ground. Will remain one of my favourites in Cork.
19/08/2026: Fantastic bar in the city centre. Friendly staff and the toasted sandwiches are incredible! Well worth a visit.

The Hideout Cafe

26/08/2026: Super friendly, nice coffee and wonderful cakes! The place is very calm and cozy. Dogs are welcome so this means to me one star more!!
17/08/2026: We decided to stop in while waiting for our train. It's a lovely spot with lots of natural light and seating. The paintings are wonderful and the plants are gorgeous. The food and drinks were also quite good, and really that's what it's all about. We only got a single tart and a drink for each of us, but I wish I had the appetite to try more, it all just looks so good. The staff were great to talk to. I would definitely recommend if you need a nice spot to relax and have a cup.
