24/02/2025: Excelent pub good beer, nice pizzas from the place out the back

17/02/2025: Every beer that I sampled was excellent. The employees were extremely helpful and provided parking information. The pizza next door was also very good. Very enjoyable ambiance.

17/03/2025: A traditional pub in Cork city that also has a large music venue showcasing some regional talent from Ireland. It is well worth a visit if you're in town. They have their own range of ales and lagers which are extremely tasty and add to the whole experience.

09/02/2025: We had a meal there 8 February 2025. Everything was fine until we ordered two glasses of wine and asked for the bill, after we paid another waitress told us to hurry up and leave as soon as possible as the table was booked for a second sitting due to arrive later. It was abrupt and bluntly done and no need as we were leaving anyway. It spoilt the experience. As once you paid and left a nice tip they wanted you gone.

29/01/2025: The seafood chowder is salty and so delicious! It tastes great when dipped in butter and bread. 3 euros per oyster. 6 pieces for 18 euros... A little expensive, but the taste is good :)

04/11/2024: I have had food from Hannah’s kitchen twice now for two different family occasions and would definitely recommend. The food is lovely, everyone commented on how tasty. And Audrey took good care of us with the order.

30/09/2024: We used Hannah's Kitchen for a small party in July. The food was amazing and they were so efficient and easy to deal with.

26/03/2025: Great food, all gluten free and vegan, there's no seating so we ended up enjoying our food in an awesome pub right down the alleyway.

20/03/2025: The vegan kimchi mac & cheese with the oyster mushroom drumstick was extremely good. The vegan nachos were also delicious. Great service and location in the English Market!

11/03/2025: I attended a wedding here last weekend and it was fantastic. The location, building, decor etc were beautiful and everything was carried out very smoothly. I'm prompted to write the review as I was so impressed by the meal service. The staff were very friendly and joyous, nothing was a bother. I'd like to mention Marcella and her colleague (memory fails me but, I think Katarina?). They waited our table throughout the meal and were superb. Thank you!

03/03/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this spa in February 2025 and wanted to share my feedback to help others. Unfortunately, it’s simply not worth the money. I booked the Serenity Massage for three people and, after not receiving a confirmation email, called to follow up. Even then, I only received a text the day before confirming the time. As a result, we were unaware that swimwear was required to access the thermal pools and sauna, and we didn’t know how early we should arrive. Although we brought swimwear just in case, I wasn’t able to use the thermal facilities as I was called straight in for my massage. My family did, and they were quite underwhelmed. The sauna wasn’t hot, rubbish was left outside the sauna, one of the pools was out of order, and there was no lighting near the sauna after dark, making it difficult to navigate safely. The indoor areas were also uncomfortably cold. Unfortunately, the massage itself was the worst part. The therapist applied strong pressure to my throat area, which left me feeling unable to breathe momentarily. I felt uncomfortable and left feeling more stressed than when I arrived- something I’ve never experienced from a massage before. To top it off, when paying, the receptionist was curt and disinterested. No one asked how our experience was, and there seemed to be little care for guest feedback. I overheard staff saying that they hadn't received a break all shift so I presume management is to blame for this behavior. I reached out to management afterward and only received a generic, AI-generated email response (it's easy to spot Chat GPT formatting) offering 20% off a future visit. The presumption that I would return and spend even more money after such a bad experience was disappointing. For nearly €500, this was an incredibly poor experience. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

27/03/2025: The cook is great. Delicious. Very tasty. But very expensive, even by local standards. Dirty. The waiters were completely out of it, they brought something that wasn't ours, or didn't bring what we ordered. The robot didn't work. In short, I liked it overall. But I'll think about going there next time.

26/03/2025: Wide and varied menu. Not just sushi, there is something for everybody. The outside is deceptive, it is a lovely warm venue , nice atmosphere . Restaurant staff are excellent . There were five of us and we had a few special requests. Each one was catered for and remembered by the staff. good children’s menu . sitting at the chef’s table is entertaining if there is just two of you.

03/03/2025: The tastiest Polish dishes in Ireland! The only thing I would suggest is to mark the menu for vegetarian dishes... It would also be good if there was a vegetarian option in the dinner sets!

09/02/2025: One of my favourite wine spots in Cork. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff, fantastic atmosphere and an amazing wine selection. Highly recommend if you are a wine lover!

09/02/2025: My fiance and I live in NYC and we came to Cork for one night and MacCurtains made us wish we could stay longer! We met Trudy and Grace and were wowed by the nibbles and the amazing selection of wine! My only complaint is that there is no longer open in the US (yet). Thanks so much for the amazing time!
