This bar was a wonderful surprise. I ordered a simple ham, cheese, and tomato sandwich that was definitely the best I've ever had. And for only 6 euros.

Fordes is an extremely well known bar, With very Nice staff and extremely good Customers...There is Music on a Regular basis And a Great Atmosphere. I can highly Recommend this Bar..

Arrived here about a hour ago.i ordered the toastie with spice beef,clonakilty blackpudding,cheese and onion and a side of ballymaloe relish. It was gorgeous. Lovely staff and atmosphere and creamy pints of Guinness

23/09/2026: Nice little Spot with a great choice of foods (breakfast, brunch and lunch). Something for everybody.
26/08/2026: I’m so excited to go back here! I think the price matches the quality of ingredients, staff are friendly and timely as-well as the food. The only negative thing about our 3rd visit was our eggs weren’t runny, that being said - it was delicious. Great coffee and fresh orange juice. I can’t wait to have eggs royale from here again- best I’ve ever had in all of Cork. Also, it would be great to have a cushion on the chair they’re quite hard, feel very office IKEA-like.
