The Elm Tree in Cork

I love going to the elm tree. Always going to get food food and have a very comfortable meal experience. Very friendly staff and the service runs like clockwork

Space and food was lovely but on this occasion service let it down.

I celebrated my birthday on this place as it was recommended by my colleague. Lots of food choices. The place was superb. The food is delicious and wonderfully prepared. Well recommended to events and spending time with friends.

The food was excellent, with a menu to suit all tastes. Despite being busy, it was quite roomy and the staff genuinely friendly and efficient. It's been a few years since I was here and the only question I have is why did I leave it so long.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and lovely to walk in to. We were seated quickly in a comfortable spot. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our waiter introduced himself by name and checked on us from time to time. Our appetizers (mezze plate and hot wings) were just the right size and delicious. For the mains, I had the Featherblade beef. It was outstanding and so were the veggies. I was a bit disappointed that the description was for whipped cauliflower, but it was potatoes instead. My wife had the Falafel. It was way too dry and she couldn't eat it. That was unfortunate and why I can only give four stars for food. This was our second time here when visiting Cork and I think we would still go again. Overall a good dining experience.

John, 3Rd.time here ,will definitely return,food good,but the truly exceptional quality is the decor, lavish beautiful and spotless, the toilets are 6 star,no restaurant in cork sets such a high standard for a premises, check it out!!
