I chose The Briar Rose Bar to celebrate my birthday after speaking with Peter and Brian, and I couldn't have made a better choice. There were around 20 of us, and we were looked after so well from start to finish. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Sarah made my birthday celebration even more special with her excellent service. Thank you all for making it such a memorable day. I highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful experience at The Briar Rose! šŸŒŸ We were served by Sara, who was simply amazing ā€” so kind and attentive, and she gave us a great food recommendation that turned out perfect. Top-notch service! The atmosphere is lovely, nicely air-conditioned (perfect for those rare warm days here in Ireland, haha), and the outdoor area is really nice too, great for relaxing. Highly recommend! ā­ā­ā­ā­ā­

19/07/2026: 5 of us had a lovely evening meal here. The restaurant is small but light and comfortable. It was busy even at 18:30 on Saturday evening. To start we had the crab and nā€™duja bao, duck liver pate, & ceviche. As my main I had the amazing burrata with cucumber and tomatoes with delicious minty pesto-type dressing and chunky chips The others at my table all had the hake and mussels. Everything was fantastic. I had the flourless chocolate cake with boozy cherries and vanilla icecream- OMG it was devine!
11/07/2026: We just had a spectacular meal here. Really delicious food, very nice service, couldn't fault it. We probably ordered too much food (one dish each off each section plus a couple of sides) but every dish was gorgeous! We'll definitely be back!
