Proby's Bistro in Cork

Very mixed review. Food was very good. Service was odd 😐 arrived in the door and one of the waiters was clearly very disgruntled. He was slamming plates, swearing, kicking doors. Wasn't exactly rude to customers from what I saw, but did make the experience very uncomfortable. The other staff were very apologetic and polite. We considered leaving but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. And as said food was really good.

Had a really nice brunch here on a Monday in June. Really nice food and the ingredients so fresh. I had the pancetta hash, would recommend but everything looked so good. Looking forward to visiting again

Great Food and service! Very filling and worth the money. The iced coffee was not that good but still very refreshing for a hot day!

We stumbled upon this place and were delighted. The food was beautifully presented and the presentation was exquisite. Highly recommended.

We loved our meal in irony’s last evening, atmosphere was amazing, staff very helpful and experienced, our food was delicious and so fresh, I had prawn salad and seafood pasta, friends had chicken, muscles , fish cakes, all delicious, fantastic value for money, 5 stars will be back

Flavoursome, seasonal & delicious food; a perfect lunch. These chefs know what good ingredients are and how to prepare them with knowledge and experience in the kitchen. Hats off to the team for bringing such a special experience to Cork. Highly recommend a visit every time you’re in the area.
