17/09/2026: I was in Cork with my wife for the weekend, we were in the Welcome a few times and I’d say it’s a great wee pub. The beamish was fantastic, locals very friendly as were the bar staff. Couldn’t recommend the place enough and should I return to Cork it will be my first port of call.

05/10/2026: I had a really great experience with Star Pizza and Grill and would definitely recommend them. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and prepared really well. The pizza was especially impressive — perfectly cooked with generous toppings, plenty of cheese and sauce, and a really satisfying taste. You can tell they put effort into both the quality and presentation of their food. The fries were also excellent — nicely seasoned, tasty, and a perfect addition to the meal. What made the experience even better was the customer service. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and polite. They made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers, and that kind of service makes a big difference. Overall, I am very satisfied with everything — the food quality, taste, portions, pizza, fries, and especially the friendly service. It is always nice to find a place where you receive delicious food along with such warm and respectful customer service. Thank you to everyone at Star Pizza and Grill for the wonderful food and hospitality. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be happy to order from you again and recommend you to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It has a gourmet vegetarian concept, but the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, elegant, warm, and romantic at the same time. — the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. The tasting menu with was delicious, creative, and perfectly balanced. You can really feel the passion and attention behind every plate. It wasn’t just dinner, it was a true culinary experience that we would absolutely repeat and recommend to everyone. The staff looked after our table and took very good care of us from beginning till the ened. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and a memorable evening overall.

05/10/2026: Stopped in after climbing the hill to visit the Goal. The Bar Keep was absolutely accommodating and flexible to provide liquid nutrition to famished Canadian tourists. Only stayed for a beer but atmosphere seemed excellent and the wood fired pizza oven cranking up for the day smelled Faboulus. Highly recommended.

They are also absolutely fantastic at accommodating coeliacs. But what really makes Luigi Malones stand out is the staff. They are always so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about giving customers a great experience. A special shout-out to Sheila and Alex, who are honestly the best front-of-house team in Cork! They always make us feel so welcome, remember us, and go above and beyond every time we visit. They are a huge part of why we keep coming back week after week. We absolutely love Luigi Malones and couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️🍕

26/09/2026: Hi, we've always liked Luigi Malone's, but we hadn't been in a while. When we returned recently, and again tonight, we were happy to find that it's as good as ever - the food is lovely, the staff are really friendly but efficient, and the look/atmosphere still make it a go-to for anyone dining out in Cork. My only criticism is that the desserts are a bit overpriced for their size. But I want to give special credit to the server at our table this evening - she was very pleasant and attentive. So attentive, in fact, that we watched her run down the street after a person who had just left the restaurant and forgotten something. You can't beat that - a great ambassador for the brand!

12/10/2026: On our coach tour visit to Cork we stopped right outside a pub called the Poor Relation. Being just two hops away and after our long voyage we decided this was our first port of call, so we popped in. And, possibly with such a unusual name for a pub, curiosity was also the attraction. Looking at the pub from the outside the place shows history. An old timber framed building, with stained windows, and many wooden crates and barrels displayed outside at the entrance. On entering through the doors you first notice how suddenly dark inside it is considering it's mid day outside. Still your eyes begin to adjust and take in the interior as you make your way to the bar. At last. Having been served by the bar attendant with a good wholesome pint you take a good look about you to find a seat amongst the maze of rooms and passageways; and finally after passing and gazing upon walls and ceilings full of photos and pictures you navigate to an empty table, with seats. Yes, it's midday so finding a table and seats wasn't too hard. The place was comfortable and warm and filled with conversations from other areas within. Music was playing over the speaker system, not live mind you, but pleasant enough not to overpower your conversations. After some time the place was beginning to get a little busier and it was soon time for our small party to leave and explore the city of Cork outside before getting back on our coach trip home. After all that's the other reason why we made the trip. All in all a most excellent day.

29/09/2026: Lovely café that is very relaxed. Great vegetarian options and good additional meat options as well. Friendly staff and good coffee. All breakfast choices are under 10 euro. What else could you want.

02/09/2026: Jason catered a naming ceremony for us and we were so impressed! His communication was great and he helped us decide how much to order etc. Collection was super easy. The food was delicious! So many people complimented the food, it was presented beautifully and very generous. I felt it was very good value too. I would 100% recommend for events. I also try to get to the salads as much as I can in the Kinsale market. Such lovely salads.

10/08/2026: I'm speaking from experience about the apartment, and it has an excellent location. The hosts are attentive and friendly; they even booked a taxi for me. The apartment meets all your needs. It is a bit noisy, at least on Saturday nights, but that's the risk you take with the bar downstairs. Everything was very clean.
