Review is for the bar and for the accommodation - the apartment above the bar. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay TREMENDOUSLY! We were welcomed very friendly (incl. a drink), and found the apartment to work very well for us. The different rooms & kitchen enabled me (hubby) to get up earlier and have coffee, while my wife slept a bit (!!) later. The traditional music night was really very special. Initially I went down to the pub by myself, because my wife was not feeling well. But after experiencing it for 30min or so, I encouraged her to join me - and she was VERY happy that she did! The location of this apartment is really perfect for Kinsale, so that we could walk to shops, restaurants and some of the sights. Parking was also quite easy, using one of the public parking lots a short distance away. On the downside - we had one evening where a group of folks were quite rowdy in the street below our window (they were leaving the restaurant across the street), and this meant that we went to bed later than planned. Oh well. Sigh. All in all - we would DEFINITELY stay here again, and would also recommend it to friends.
