Simply awesome. Freshly brewd beer on draft. Cheerful and enthusiastic personnel with an extremely comfortable ambience. Would strongly recommend for beer tasting and having a relaxing time.

Good pizza, nice bar and staff. Nice brewpub with interesting beers; wheat beer, Resurrection, and Hazy IPA were the favorites.

Lovely place for drinks really good beers and for the food also with Nice Pizza. Nice outside and inside a place to do In Cork ☺️

The Franciscan Well Brewery is already a fantastic local pub with delicious craft beers on tap and incredible Pompeii Pizza in the beer garden. But the absolute hidden gem here is the Rebel Comedy Club Open Mic Night hosted upstairs. Entrance to the show is completely free, though leaving a tip is highly encouraged to support the amazing acts. We went for the comedy, got some great drinks at the bar, and had an absolute blast. The vibes upstairs are cozy and full of energy. The jokes and the laughter were amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend catching a comedy night here if you want a great evening out in Cork!

Absolutely love this place! The craft beer flight was fantastic, very solid range of beers with Original 7, all quite delicious. I visited several craft breweries during my recent visit to Ireland and this is a favorite. If you love craft beer then you most definitely should travel Ireland and the Franciscan Well is a must visit!! Original 7 brews are also available in other pubs such as The Raven, where we met and had a great time with the founder of Franciscan Well. The people all around Ireland are amazing friendly people.

I normally never have anything bad to say about Fran Well, however the service from my visit last night definitely shocked me. I went to order a bottle of wine and when I asked the boy behind the bar how much it was he rolled his eyes at me. I also ordered two 7ups. When he forgot to bring the second one and my friend asked for it he rolled his eyes at us again. This is my first and only time experiencing service like this if Fran well. However, all the other staff that I interacted that night were extremely helpful. We went upstairs to the cocktail bar and the staff there were all really lovely and attentive. They definitely made up for the lacklustre service in the bar downstairs!
