Stopped in after climbing the hill to visit the Goal. The Bar Keep was absolutely accommodating and flexible to provide liquid nutrition to famished Canadian tourists. Only stayed for a beer but atmosphere seemed excellent and the wood fired pizza oven cranking up for the day smelled Faboulus. Highly recommended.

Fantastic beer! Had my favorite stout ever here - Murphy's 170th whiskey cask stout. Sad that I don't think I can find it at home. It was a delicious stout. Staff was friendly and fun. Loved the vibe in the pub. Patio area was terrific and relaxing. Love the tee shirts. (Pompeii Pizza is reviewed separately.)

Afternoon drink here. Decorations were going up for Halloween on 1st October. Big area out the back, shared with Corks best pizza place. Great match. Worth the walk

Having a drink in the afternoon was incredibly pleasant and relaxing; the beer was excellent and distinctive—I especially recommend Murphy's. I’ve heard the pizza is delicious; it’s a shame I arrived already full. I’d definitely like to try it next time I get the chance—the pizza oven looks excellent.

14/09/2026: Very good atmosphere, great selection of beers, amazing pizzas and good music. However, the beergarden's retractable ceiling is always closed and tobbaco smoke often acumulates, so not really a smoke-free area as should be.

It has a gourmet vegetarian concept, but the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, elegant, warm, and romantic at the same time. — the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. The tasting menu with was delicious, creative, and perfectly balanced. You can really feel the passion and attention behind every plate. It wasn’t just dinner, it was a true culinary experience that we would absolutely repeat and recommend to everyone. The staff looked after our table and took very good care of us from beginning till the ened. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and a memorable evening overall.
