Pub is lovely, nice decor and a lot of space. It can get very noisy and even if they close the canopy they still let people smoke so - despite some air circulation - you'll come home stinking of smoke. Despite having a beer garden in the back, the place is not ideal if you also have hayfever / asthma etc.

Didn't eat here but it's a nice vibe very friendly bartenders and I left a couple of souvenirs there and 2 days later it's still there...love that! Both visits very positive! Beautiful beer garden.

Wonderful and inclusive pub, seating inside or at the big and cozy beer garden, selection of local and foreign beers and the pizza's (vegan cheese available!) are great. Highly recommend!

Franciscan Well Brewery

08/07/2026: Fantastic, cozy place and home of the awesome Original 7 beer that is brewed directly on place. We had two beer flights plus a pint so that we could try them all. All were absolute awesome, we really liked them all! The man behind the counter was very nice and told us about the name Franciscan Well und why the beer is now called differently. The location is fantastic - no matter if you're inside or outside. The Pizza is great as well. We loved it and if we will make it back to Cork someday we'll definitely go there again! Thanks and all the best for the Original 7 Team!! :-)
05/07/2026: Great pizza, large selection of beers and ciders. Very rustic decor, but it suits the location. We loved it and would come back.
