The best restaurants in Cork city council

06/09/2025: I've been ordering for weeks though just eat, but today my order WAS NOT DELIVERED. Order 142472739 was paid in advance. No one answer my calls as well. Disappointed.

03/11/2025: Came in buzzing after reading all the great reviews…what a flop! The blonde guy behind the bar — young, ponytail, acting like he’s God’s gift to hospitality — clearly peaked the moment he learned how to pull a pint. Full of attitude, slagging off a customer, short-changed me, €12 for a Murphy’s? Thought it was a joke — sadly, so was the service. The whole bar crew looked like they’d just finished their first shift ever, and the ego-to-experience ratio was astronomical. Huge disappointment

14/11/2025: Friendly staff. Great that you can eat your food from Miyazaki here. They have different random things on from time to time like Amuse Bouche from local café's, DJs, Trad sessions, Irish speaking nights etc. Pat the manager is a legend. Good craic.

29/10/2025: One of my favourite pubs in Cork. Beautiful and cosy little spot, though it can be difficult to get a seat during busier times. The live music is wonderful, as is the ability to order delicious Japanese food from across the road!

27/10/2025: Always a great experience, The elm tree never ever disappoints ,top class service, top class food ,Megan the server met our every need on many a occasion. My family down from the North had a fantastic time.

23/10/2025: Celebration Ruined – Ignored, Insulted, Disrespected I organized a dinner for a close friend’s promotion, What should have been a joyful celebration turned into humiliation. Our server, Kenneth, completely neglected our table. Water took over an hour. Our order was forgotten, and when we asked for it to be packed, it was dumped carelessly. Dessert took half an hour to take, and food I was tasteless and poorly prepared. When we asked for the manager, Owen, we were told he was too busy and handed a €25 voucher. For a €100+ bill, this was insulting. As professionals, we know what respect and proper hospitality look like — none of it was shown. We deserved a sincere apology and proper compensation, not a token voucher that worsened the experience. This restaurant fails completely at basic hospitality. They ruined a special occasion. Never again. Horrible.

25/10/2025: Franciscan Well Brewery – absolute perfection in Cork! What a fantastic spot! The atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were friendly, and everything just hit the mark. The pizza was so good we couldn’t resist going back for seconds — crispy, flavorful, and fresh from the oven. The beers were top-notch too, perfectly brewed and full of character. It’s the kind of place you could happily spend an afternoon (or evening!) just soaking up the vibes. A must-visit in Cork! 🍕🍺

15/11/2025: Came down to cork for a quick trip from Dublin and just had to try this restaurant. Alex was very helpful, with an amazing recommendation of the lasagna, couldn’t recommend this place more.
