30/03/2024: Great place for families. All of our dishes were amazing, especially my son’s gluten free pasta. A nice variety of gluten free options so he was delighted!!! Everything came out fast and fresh ❤️❤️❤️

30/03/2024: Good service. Fresh and good quality food. Good views. A place to go for breakfast with everything that includes good service. Good quality coffee, if you are demanding and enjoy coffee, here you can enjoy an authentic espresso, one of the few in Cork. It's a little expensive but it's understandable for the quality, it's worth coming back.

02/04/2024: My husband, 2 year old daughter and I stayed at Fota over the long Easter weekend. We were a bit underwhelmed as we were expecting a bit more from a 5 start hotel but all in all it was a nice stay. Not a lot to do with a 2 year old at the hotel itself, however, Fota Wildlife Park was great nearby. Pros: + comfortable Deluxe room - very comfortable bed, we slept great! + lovely surprises in our room (teddybear for our daughter, bottle of wine for us) + iPad in the room for hotel bookings/room service + Breakfast is nice with good service and a nice selection + Eastern Essence massage was lovely at the spa, the relaxation room after was also very nice + Turn down service is lovely + Staff are very friendly, however, you can tell many are still getting trained + Beautiful gardens around the hotel Cons: - Rooms are dated (we had a Deluxe room on the 2nd floor) - Food quality at the hotel is not 5 stars. Limited menu and pretty mediocre taste (we ate at the Clubhouse, Amber Lounge and ordered room service). - Not a lot of activities to do with a 2 year old on-site. The playground by the lodges is subpar. I wish there was an indoor activity area for little kids. - Hotel pool has to be booked in advance - a bit cold for kids - Spa is not organized efficiently - lots of going from rooms to rooms. No refreshments in the waiting area. There is a hydropool/outside sauna you can use if you have a treatment (otherwise you have to pay 15eur) I wish they informed you before your treatment you have this option so you come to the spa earlier. I didn't want to use the hydro pool/sauna after my relaxing massage. - Sauna outside does not work (its cold) and the steam rooms did not work when we were there.

01/04/2024: Near Cork Cobh. Great food recommend Monkfish, fillet steak in main restaurant and beef burger in bar restaurant. Rooms great. Book spa / meals / swim times can be done on app. Kids had a great time.

30/03/2024: My first time here staff were friendly seats were comfortable. Pizza was nice paid €13 for it. Everyone is different i like the New York style pizza that why i gave it 4 stars. But this style thin slice pizza is getting popular and i wish them all the best with their business during these difficult times.

24/03/2024: We were here on a Saturday and while there was a queue, it was only a short wait. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good. However, the food was disappointing. We had the Irish Lamb Stew and Risotto, which were bland. The mushroom vol-au-vents were good. Overall, the portion sizes were small, especially for the price and taste.
