This is a great restaurant with very tasty food which we didn’t expect on our trip through cork. We turned up last minute and they gave our family a great meal. Very nice people too.

This is a genuinely authentic Indian restaurant. The food is fabulous! They obviously make the dishes from scratch. You can almost taste the individual spices! There's a great selection on the menu but ask for the takeaway menu as it's more extensive! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too! Service is lovely! Nice friendly staff who don't hover unnecessarily but are still attentive. We live locally so we will definitely be back!

I came to Clonakilty for the west cork rally from Wales and found this restaurant online. I got to say the food took a little time to arrive after ordering but it was all freshly cooked to order and delicious, very much worth the waiting time. I would definitely recommend there food here.

Ordered a Lamb Vindaloo, which is always arisk as they’re usually nowhere near hot enough in Irish Indian restaurants. This was delicious! Hot , spicy but full of flavour.

We've eaten here a few times, the food has been consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable. We really appreciate all the vegetarian / vegan options and how lovely the owners are.

Coriander - Nepalese And Indian Restaurant Douglas

17/03/2026: We had a great experience at Coriander. First of all, we had no reservation and this place was pretty packed (always a good sign) but they found us a table and treated us really well. Service was fast and friendly and there was no rushing us out afterwards. The food is brilliant. Amazing flavours, colours, smells...beautiful presentation. We had the Papadoms with mango and tomato chutneys, House Special Aloo, Lamb Saag, Goan Prawn Curry, Saffron Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan. All fantastic. Be warned, however, this is proper curry...even the items with no chilli 🌶️ symbol on the menu could knock your socks off if you don't have the constitution for it. Our socks were very much knocked off...but the food was so fantastic it was worth every penny, and I'd go again in a heartbeat.. I just might try the Butter Chicken or the Korma next time!

The location is perfect, and the ambiance is very inviting. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommended!
