Coriander - Nepalese And Indian Restaurant Douglas in Cork

We had a great experience at Coriander. First of all, we had no reservation and this place was pretty packed (always a good sign) but they found us a table and treated us really well. Service was fast and friendly and there was no rushing us out afterwards. The food is brilliant. Amazing flavours, colours, smells...beautiful presentation. We had the Papadoms with mango and tomato chutneys, House Special Aloo, Lamb Saag, Goan Prawn Curry, Saffron Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan. All fantastic. Be warned, however, this is proper curry...even the items with no chilli 🌶️ symbol on the menu could knock your socks off if you don't have the constitution for it. Our socks were very much knocked off...but the food was so fantastic it was worth every penny, and I'd go again in a heartbeat.. I just might try the Butter Chicken or the Korma next time!

Food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a fresh and full of flavour experience in Cork!

Got takeaway , flavours were amazing in the korma , chicken was just abit over cooked and the pilau rice was a little undercooked but overall decent

Super meal. Korma was REALLY good and the lamb shank was literally best lamb that I've ever eaten. Great service. Will definitely be back :-)

I tried this restaurant on the advice of a dear friend. It was exceptional. The food was the most authentic I have ever experienced, full of flavour and nicely presented. The staff were plesant and attentive. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant again and recommend that you don't hesitate.

Where do I start, got a takeaway tonight, the Butter chicken has so much chicken, yes you pay 16 euro without rice but its done me for 2 dinners, so tasty, the onion bhaji savage and peshwarii naan lovely also, highly reccomend
