Golden Elephant in Cork

Golden Elephant has amazing food! We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The flavourful ginger chicken wings and corn ribs were absolutely delicious. Our little one loved the kids’ chicken too tender chicken breast with egg fried rice. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully cooked. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

Not my first visit and certainly not the last! My going choice: fried soft shell crabs...to die for. Can't even look at anything else even if the people with me rated the duck dishes higly as well as the Pad Thai I highly recommend

This was one of the best experience dining out that I have ever had. First they brought out prawn crackers with a dipping sauce and normally I dont like prawn crackers but these were quite nice. For starters we tried the fish cakes which I thought were just wonderful. Till I tried the mango sea bass salad which was a perfect blend of spice and sweet will definitely get again if I ever come back to Cork. The chicken and cashews was a little less spicy than I was expecting but the flavor was phenomenal. The red curry with roasted duck was very crispy even though it was sitting in sauce well we ate the chicken. Everything came out quickly, and the wait staff were very friendly. The best part was we were both absolutely stuffed for €66. This restaurant alone made the trip to cork worth while. I am waiting for my flight home writing this thinking about the red curry sauce. Do yourself a favor and sprint to the Golden Elephant and try everything on the menu. Note if you park in the parking lot and dont pay you car will get a boot. Saw some poor chap waiting to get one removed. It is also pointed out in the menu at the restaurant.

Try the chicken appetizer—they highly recommended it on the menu, and so do I.

Food was amazing and I loved the vibe of the place. It is a bit more on the cozy side but I loved the decor and the service was great! I loved my food and appetizers and the Bailey's ice cream was so good!! Im just visiting cork but this would definitely be a place I would go back to in the future. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely adored the Golden Elephant. The food was excellent. I had a Beef Curry with a peanut sauce and it was delicious. We shared starters which we top class. Would definitely recommend.
