06/05/2025: Very cosy wine bar with interesting tapas type food. Nice friendly staff but best that you book ahead to guarantee a seat in the main bar (ground floor) Fantastic wine selection and staff are VERY clued in on the fruit of the vine 👍

20/05/2025: Best Chinese restaurant in Cork. I highly recommend the roast meats, or the traditional Chinese menu, especially the Hunan Spicy Beef or the Fish Fragrance Shredded Pork (which is fishy in name only - it's a translation thing!).

18/06/2025: Hailing from very Asian areas, I'm used to a wider variety (rose is my current favorite flavor), I feel their selections were somewhat limited, but still yummy!

18/06/2025: Ordered the iced macha vanilla latte. I had never tried macha before and it was gorgeous. Also the cakes are lovely I went less than an hour before closing and the Blondie still tastes fresh. Lovely walk beside it too.

13/06/2025: I go to boxed every morning for my coffee and I have the best experience with everyone of the staff and especially Ella she’s always so bright and bubbly and has an excellent customer service skills .. I highly recommend boxed 5stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

04/07/2025: Sports pub, modern music but good atmosphere, we ordered a selection of grilled meats that was good for two, even enough if you don't eat much.

01/07/2025: Really nice place ! We had a breakfast for dinner, we were just a bit sad that we weren't seated with the rest of the bar, but it was nice ! Cheap option, it was the small breakfast too but it was more than enough !

16/07/2025: I first ordered food at Miyazaki across the road, and sat in O'Sho to wait and also eat it there. Bar staff, cleanliness, and facilities provided were great. It's also a great place to have a few pints without eating also.

03/07/2025: Best meal we had in Cork!! We went in around 8pm without a reservation and got seated right away, it was busy though! The staff quickly took our orders and we had a feast in front of us within 25min. Didn’t get photos of everything! The Madhesh Duck Curry has 3 chili peppers next to it on the menu but it wasn’t spicy at all which was slightly disappointing but it was still very tasty. If we lived closeby we’d definitely be regulars here. Highly recommend!

04/07/2025: Durante mucho tiempo los Tagliatelle al Pollo fueron mi plato n°1 de Il Padrino, así que cuando me volví vegetariano en 2018, dejé de volver simplemente porque no podía comer mi plato favorito de allí. Sin embargo, 7 años después, vuelvo a comer carne y Il Padrino fue mi primera comida fuera de casa. Por supuesto, pedí Tagliatelle al Pollo y ¡siguieron teniendo el mismo nivel que hace 7 años! Fue un sueño. La comida estaba deliciosa, mi pareja (que nunca había estado antes) dijo que era la mejor comida italiana que había probado nunca. Comida maravillosa, vino, ambiente y personal. Felicitaciones a todos los involucrados.

23/06/2025: Tried the taster session yesterday and it was my first time ever doing something like this. Gerald was our instructor and he was so attentive and easy to chat to , really calmed any nerves I had going in. Will definitely consider starting climbing as a hobby now!

17/06/2025: Took my son for the bouldering induction. Great advice on what to do and safety. Had a good climb after with plenty of options that are suitable for an 8 year old

28/06/2025: After grey days, my friend and I had the pleasure of finding Marcello's restaurant. Excellent food, "real" ingredients, excellent quality. All served with an excellent Nero d'Avola and to finish an excellent Amaro del Capo. Marcello is an excellent host and together with his daughter super welcoming ... and everything immediately makes you feel at "home".

14/07/2025: Absolutely Outstanding! What a fantastic Italian restaurant. The menu is truly epic, there’s something for everyone, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The flavours and textures were incredible, clearly made with care and authentic ingredients. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We were greeted with a smile, shown to our table, and asked if everything was to our liking. The service was flawless throughout , perfectly timed between courses, attentive without being overbearing. All in all, the food was exquisite, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was second to none. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Cork. 10/10 experience! Thanks Guys 🙂
