12/11/2025: Food was nice but the service was so rushed. We'd barely sat down before the starters were slapped down and it was the same for the mains. It all felt so hectic. I wouldn't go back.
08/11/2025: Clam chowder was poor lot of unopened clams in it.
Main was excellent.
Was left waiting long time for drinks during meal.
Was waiting a long time for desert menu eventually chef seen we had been abandoned and came out to give us the menu.

30/07/2025: A great experience. The beer garden at the back of the PB is very relaxing; it's a covered, cemented courtyard. If you want to chat, you have to stay at the counter. We enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.
26/07/2025: When you can go to a local pub and have a Beamish, Murphy’s and Guinness life is great. Don’t eat (don’t try really) and just wanted to sit with a pint and talk. Everyone was super friendly…I accidentally dropped a 10 Euro and the good folks at the table next to us pointed it out.

20/10/2025: The best restaurant in Cork in our opinion. We go there every time we're in Cork. It's the kind of restaurant that you go to knowing what you want to order but then you see the specials it makes the decision so hard. Particularly love the scallop salad. It's amazingly good. The thick cut chips are like little roast potatoes. The lamb curry, burger, crab salad and the monkfish goujons are also a favourite. Always good atmosphere too.

06/09/2025: Hipster café with a very nice atmosphere in Cork City center. When I went there it was really packed, but still very enjoyable given the good vibes and good music. Nice coffee too for 3'60€.

This pub is amazing; its decor takes you back to the days of the pharmacy.
A nice wine list and delicious small plates to accompany your drinks.

28/09/2025: It's become a mess, literally a mess. I used to love going there because the food was delicious and worth the price. But recently – a disaster.
Three times in a row, that wasn't a coincidence. The broth is water. Tasteless, fatless, like yellow-tinged water with three noodles, and that's it. Pierogi cooked in unsalted water. Bland. You could hear the employees arguing in the back. Food remains on the floor under the tables from previous customers.
I'm sorry, but I'm giving up.

09/11/2025: Great hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best. Comfortable rooms. If I were to criticise the view from our rooms were of stone walls. I would return.

06/11/2025: The food I’ve tried here is excellent, and the art is very impressive - but it’s pretty freaky and to be honest I never feel like staying in there too long or eating my food inside the building because of the giant horrifying faces staring down at me, and I’m a grown man. I can’t imagine bringing small kids here I’d say they’d be terrified.

13/10/2025: Excellent service and Murphys. Came to watch the Wales game, which they initially didn't have on. But the legend behind the bar took the time to edit the settings in order to stream BBC Wales for me. Good friendly atmosphere, highly recommended 👌
