The Four Liars Bistro in Cork

Due to a rare stroke of bad luck, I stumbled upon this restaurant, and what a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was lovely, the food impeccable, and the prices were affordable.

Had a really good meal at Four Liars Syrian Restaurant! We tried the chicken-filled samosas, and they were crispy, flavorful and delicious. The Syrian biryani was definitely a highlight — really good and full of flavor. We also had the charcoal-grilled chicken fillet, which was fine and nicely grilled. Overall, good food, generous flavors, and a nice experience. Would definitely come back to try more from the menu.

The food was stunning! Generous portions, fresh flavours, quality exceeds the price. Shared the Kabseh, the lamb was so flavoursome, and the Farrouj Mashwi, chicken perfectly cooked. Rice was delicious, expertly seasoned. Fresh salads and gorgeous hummus. Great vegetarian options available too. Shocking this place wasn’t listed in any of the many recommendations we looked at for where to eat in Cork!!

Ordered food from here and it was so good, portions were really good as well and you get loads for what you pay. Everything tasted unreal, would 100% recommend giving it a try. Definitely one of the nicest takeaways I’ve had in a while and will be ordering again

Definitely the most flavorful meal I’ve had in Ireland so far. Excellent service and a beautiful setting. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Excellent Syrian restaurant! Among other things, one of the best tabbouleh dishes I've ever had... The vegetarian and vegan options were very good.

If you miss a proper lamb shashlik - this is the place! The meat was cooked perfectly. Started was also a good size but probably for two people or a really hungry man. Beer selection is limited to basic stuff, eg Heineken. Well, go to a pub if you seek a pint 😎 There is also an option for shisha but it is offered outside. Location is right in front of the butter museum and the related market building. Bell tower is around the corner.

This restaurant has very very nice and tasty food with fast service. The area inside is cosy and comfy with lots of decorations, the sauces are AWSOME they are JUST on the spot. Also, they have kind waiters and community. This restaurant makes you feel at home.
