Cask in Cork

Now, I know everyone is bloody friendly in this beautiful country but these lot were absolutely glorious. Great food great drinks, lush little patio area with a waterfall thingy. Shout out to Luke!

Cool atmosphere and kind staff. The food and drinks were a hit and miss for us. We did really enjoy the heirloom tomatoes and homemade ravioli. I thought the portions were a bit small, I would have liked if the board had a bit more meat and cheese, what was there was very nice.

I've travelled lots, eaten in lots and lots of lovely restaurants around the world and this venue completely blew me away. The setting is stunning, the industrial feel to it is interlocked with all the details but softend beautifully to make it also so welcoming. The waterfall coming off the cliff face that enclosed the end of the wide brick and stone alley is breathtaking. Staff were lovely, cocktail menu painstakingly put together and the food was 😋🥰😍🤩. One of the most visually stunning and well executed spaces I have ever been in!! Highly recommend!

Be aware that the staff tastes your drink(cocktail) with a straw before the drink gets to you Sometimes. even three people will taste it.

It was our first time visiting Cork and staying at Issac’s Hotel and we were delighted to have Cask as the courtyard and cocktail bar attached. Beautiful venue! The cocktails were very unique and we went several times to enjoy the variety. The food was great for sharing and paired well with our choices. What stood out even more were the staff. Wow! Harry, Luke, Mac…..and the whole team. Such warm Irish hospitality! We will come back. Thank you. Maria & Ben (Canada)

Being warmly welcomed upon arrival is something we always appreciate, but we were clearly disappointed with the food. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I expected much more from the food.

Dearbhla, Adam, and Mac gave me the most amazing experience. Visited here around 10 years ago close to open and had a wonderful night welcoming a new addition to the Cork cocktail scene. At that point, we got classic cocktails with an Irish twist that I adored, but was nothing groundbreaking. I return today to see things on a menu that have no reason to make sense but amaze the senses. Service and product are absolutely incredible. Rather than be diluted by an increased market and competition, Cask have elevated themselves by going a step beyond into experimentalism and succeeding far beyond all expectation. A must see.

Our group of 8 had a super evening and food to suit all tastes. Such a lovely location. Oisin, our server, was a charming young man and an asset to the business. That Beef Cheek was delicious. Hubby had the lamb and others in the group had the fish. Our veggie was very pleased with her Risotto. A reasonablely priced bill with wonderful food in a superb and bustling location.

Visited cask on Saturday evening- there were four of us . I’m a great fan of the restaurant but last Saturday was a poor experience- there were four of us and the food wasn’t great - apart from the chips and despite asking for the music being turned down on three occasions it kept on blaring - there was no need for that volume - could not have a conversation with my friends . I’d be reluctant to go back.
