It was a lovely spot the food was lovely and the staff were very nice and professional It couldn't have been any nicer. I would highly recommend it.

This fantastic place used to be owned by my late grandmother a long time ago and back in the days was a well known landmark by anyone for miles and miles. It was only a small local pub back then and the only food you could get was a packet of crisps or peanuts from behind the bar or freshly cooked food for the family from granny's small kitchen. Now, still bearing the original "Snailbox" name it has been extensively extended and modernised by the current owner Phillip and OMG, what a place it is now ! A massive restaurant serving 1st class food, fantastic staff and Phillip is one of the nicest people you will ever meet (Make sure you bring a baseball cap from your home town and he will swap it for a Snailbox cap). Accommodation if needed is also available and everywhere is spotlessly clean. We visited for dinner in March for St Patricks weekend. There were 12 of us and although the restaurant was packed, food came out quickly, all fresh and great tasting, we didn't have to wait for drinks and Phillip and his many staff were attentive and made us all feel welcome. We live in the UK but whenever we go back to the Emerald Isle, this is definitely a visit we will make again 5 out of 5
