Food is always good here. Just had the double baked hazelnut nut pain au chocolat. Amazing. Will definitely be back for more. Staff very friendly, couldn't be more helpful. Coffee is good too. Always enjoy coming here.

Great Service The Food Is Perfect Ordering A Cappuccino Or Any Coffee Is Perfect And Off Course Who Can Forget The Latte? That’s An Great Hot Beverage & Coffee Art Is Very Amazing Above All The Food Is Fine Apart From The Mushroom Soup Which I Would Prefer To Avoid Due To Different Taste Preferences But The Atmosphere is Also Perfectly Fine & Reasonable Prices

Always loved this brunch place, the food is top notch. This time I was a bit disappointed with the options for meat and dairy free dietary requirements. But Glenda saved the day as she organised a combination of sides that were vegan. Top notch customer service and professional empathy is key to business success and Glenda made sure that I felt included. Thank you

A favourite spot. Food is always good quality, staff are nice but its so lovely to wander around the garden centre after you eat. It can get extremely busy on weekends with long wait times

Today I tried the special,fried chicken pancakes with hot honey glazed. Absolutely delicious. Crispy and sweet, so flavoursome. Staff are always lovely. Love coming here.

Food & coffee good. Customer service Staff very poor indeed. All 4 service staff that we encountered between ordering, paying, coffee/hot drinks maker and table food service person hadn't a notion on how to address a customer. Customers treated like irritants; clearly these service staff didn't want to be there &/or had not been given any customer service training. Compares very poorly with the personable and efficient service in their Perry St (city) location.

The Hound at Hunter's Yard Mount Juliet Estate

02/02/2026: Our stay at Mount Juliet was made even more memorable by several meals at The Hound, and it truly did not disappoint. From appetizers to mains and desserts, every dish we had across multiple lunches and dinners was extremely good. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea; even though the weather kept us from the outside terrace, the staff were so attentive and ensured we were perfectly taken care of indoors. It was a flawless dining experience that has me already looking forward to my next staycation!
01/01/2026: It was my birthday dinner. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. I'd gladly come again.

Spruce Goose Restaurant

01/02/2026: Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee. Big thanks to the staff I will Miss you all
01/02/2026: Was a bit disappointed. Heard it was closing so we thought we'd go have another wonderful meal there. We got there for 5pm, and was told that the majority of the food on the menu wasn't available. So we decided to go somewhere else instead. 😢
