Looking for a tip while paying by card after ordering at the counter for food with a tray. So disappointed with this setup. There is a no tip option but seriously....a tip after collecting your food and drinks yourself. Please remove this option. Lots of people beside me disappointed with this also.

10/08/2025: Quiet atmosphere with music so low it felt a bit awkward to talk. Service was friendly but missed small details—like enough cups for three people and no ice in the water jug.
Food was great value for the price: pasta had excellent flavour and texture, and pizza was tasty (though could be crisper). Nice touch having hand cream in the bathroom, but there were no signs and the light was off when we went in.

29/07/2025: A bit of the beaten track, but a great bus service just minutes from the hotel. We stayed for three nights end of June into July, nothing too much trouble for the very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel itself was clean and well presented. A little dark in places, especially the bedroom corridors, which could do with brightening up, some areas were a little tired looking. Our bedroom was comfortable and had all we needed. Overall a nice hotel.

05/08/2025: Disaster! Waited an hour for food. For a burger and fish & chips. The noise level was like a train station. Never again.
05/08/2025: The vegetable soup here has absolutely no flavor. It's just diced potatoes, chopped onion, and carrots in water. Only after adding a lot of salt and pepper was it even remotely edible. The coffee was definitely not freshly brewed and was still very strong with milk. We wouldn't recommend it. The ice cream and fries are probably better.

27/06/2025: hi all..really enjoyed food here .. The restaurant is back open again. It has a great selection of suhi and also oriental food..no drink licence there yet..so allowed bring your own..service excellent..we will definitely eat there again..highly recommend..
25/06/2025: Ordered noodles and rice with beef and a few other bits from LAM cuisine, absolutely incredible! The beef is honestly the best I've had in kilkenny. So soft and flavour full. Portion sizes very good making it great value for money. Highly recommend 👌

18/08/2025: Good food but the fresh cod portions are tiny for €9.40 also the chips accompanying this were very few.. 9.40+4.50.....€13.90 and still hungry.........pipers takeaway in Portrane puts these guys to shame.
02/08/2025: I asked for fish Box with lots of salt and vinegar. But there was none on anything . Also got a blue cheese dip. But it was just milky water when opened it spilled all over my clothes. The fish was tastless .
