01/04/2024: Had a takeaway, shop is immaculately clean, hard working friendly staff. As good a fish and chips as you'll get, can't wait to get back there

26/03/2024: This super fish and chip shop never disappoints. My meal was thoughtfully prepared and served, with all trimmings provided. No need to ask.

01/04/2024: Was really looking forward to a visit here. Cool interior,nice atmosphere. The service on the other hand made this visit a disappointment. No hello,no welcome,no explaining how one orders. No idea that the lunch menu was finished. No problem. Carrot cake was fine. I felt I was intruding. They came to the table at 3:30pm to say they were closing in 10mins. I sat down at 3:05pm. They close at 4pm on this occasion. Will have a peek in the spacious windows to see if it's the same staff next time I walk by. But I won't be recommending here until then. Shame really.

31/03/2024: Great location, good collection of tea, good collection of pastries (although a single pastel de nata costs a whopping €3.25). But the staff aren't very friendly.

28/03/2024: It is a store with a cafeteria, where there is a little bit of everything from clothing to plants and organic products. Of course, it is not cheap.

02/04/2024: Hotel big, and nice. Recepcionist very kind and helpful. They gave us a room ready 2 hours before checking. Parking very spacious and handy. There are a few things that make us think about not considered it as a 4 star hotel, like there is only one elevator and too old. Also they don’t have some accessories like slippers or air con. In general old fashion hotel, will need a new fresh air. *Do not eat in the restaurant.* Totally standard food. 23€ for a Teriyaki salmon with holandeisa sauce. Too dried, no sign of the sauces. I could do that dish in my house for 7€. Also red that curry was meant to be with chickpeas and no sign of the chickpeas, pita bread too dried and hard. The worst 53€ spent on our holiday. Although, the staff were very kind in the restaurant. Located outside of Cork city center, bus stop 3 min walking from the hotel, bus 214 drop you to the center, station etc.

30/03/2024: This is a nice chain of hotels in Ireland. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has a wonderful breakfast.

18/08/2023: Quality of food gone down very much compared to before. Was once the nicest Chinese in town unfortunately I cannot say that now I was very disappointed with my food incorrect order and just not nice what I did get couldn’t eat it, With 3 similar restaurants/take away in the town I would expect better quality, would advise to people to try elsewhere. Too expensive to be getting inedible food. Overall not a great experience sadly .

17/03/2024: Very good chipper I must say I'm in malahide for the last 6 weeks and oder food once a week💚 My son is happy my 84 year old father Timmy is and I'm happy 😁 could not fault at all

15/03/2024: Disappointing. I love Macari’s chipper in Raheny. The chips are €4 in Malahide €3.50 in Raheny. That’s ok. The assistant was rude. Snapped at me as I said that’s a very big portion, she said “that’s not for you” as if I was going to grab it off the counter. My portion was a lot smaller, and wrapped once in a bag, so got cold on the way home. The other assistant was embarrassed, and gave me a half smile. The place smelled of meat, not a good atmosphere. I let a man out as I was going to enter, he didn’t say “thank you”… one of those days maybe!! I love good manners so I won’t be back.

12/02/2024: food is absolutely disgusting when ordered online. Took a hour to come stone cold portion was tiny burger had hardly any toppings on it and the lettuce was brown and mushy. Spoke to the manager and he was so ignorant wouldn’t even listen to me. He blamed it all on the delivery driver not taking accountability for the lack of food and gone off vegetables inside the burger waste of money.
