07/03/2026: Classico is not what I expected. It’s not Classico at all. It’s like a sit in takeaway with little to no service and the food is mid. I did not enjoy this experience as I thought I was in for a right feast
17/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. Huge menu, something for everyone. Service was very good. I had the spaghetti al amatriciana and it was fantastic. I’m not an expert in Italian cuisine, but seems very authentic. It’s a good sign when they’re speaking Italian in the kitchen.

12/07/2026: Heard and had such great expectation for this restaurant but even though it is a lovely looking restaurant from inside and outside with great potential, the overall experience just wasn’t great. We were a party of three and had pre- booked for 6pm - it was clear to see the restaurant was busy and there were doing many table covers. Service was very slow, staff non- engaged (and very lacking in knowledge) and disinterested. Although the food was well presented and edible, it took an hour for the mains of the early bird special to come out. ( which didn’t make sense for what we ordered) The worst sting of all was the price - over 200 euro for three early bird specials and three rounds of drinks. Ouch. Sadly, we left unsatisfied. We had desserts and afters elsewhere.

01/06/2026: A bit dated, but we were only there to sleep. The staff were always incredibly friendly, but the food in the restaurant was very mysterious, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and helpless for many people. Breakfast had everything you could need. Would gladly stay again.
31/05/2026: I cannot speak more highly of Vijay. He was so obliging with caring for our athletes staying in the the hotel. Supplied us with ice with no issue.
We arrived back late & we were never felt unwelcome he was a very good host.
He was managing the bar on his own & we were never made to feel nuisance.

Cullen's at the Cottage
15/07/2026: The atmosphere was quite nice, but i have a couple points of improvement, the steak was extremely tough the waiter was very understanding which is good, the mussels were alright but the sauce wasn’t very nice, the crab meal barely had any crab in it at all. If they improve these then this restaurants could be amazing
13/07/2026: We had a wonderful celebratory luncheon at Cullen's at the Cottage to mark my son's engagement during our Ireland trip, complete with a lovely bottle of champagne, which was thoroughly enjoyed.
The food was fantastic, and the service was swift and calculated, the kind of perfected service that's subtle, never distracting, yet very noticeable.
If you can not stay at Ashford, I highly recommend a dining experience at Ashford Castle. We followed up our lunch with a Hawk Walk at the School of Falconry on site, which was magical! Great memories made!

01/07/2026: Ordered a tea, felt like I’d killed the bar staffs family member. He was so Rude. Slammed drinks in front of us and stared me out twice. Very strange. Also smelt funny and felt dirty.

14/07/2026: My friend and I go here regularly and the food and service is always exceptional. However, theres even more to my happiness they added ethically friendly cola which is not as common as it should be. Well done. And their granola my friend advised is top notch so im going to get to bring home. The @palestincola is yum and they have lots of flavours. This addition will make me go there even more often. Great shopping choices.

30/06/2026: Nice place overall. Overpriced for what it offers. Last time I ate there I had the breakfast and it was nothing to write home about. Poached eggs were completely raw on inside, snotty slime when cut open, looked nice but not edible.

21/07/2026: This has been my late night chilper for the past 7 years, and they now have installed strobe and lights and atuff, and there's no turning back. This will become more of a dancing hub than Electric. The lads are so freekin great in there! Ask for a Quad 4, with the old chicken way, tell them I sent ya, it won't disappoint.

My son is a very picky eater and she made sure that all his food came exactly as requested. The food was very high quality, delicious&fresh. We had a lovely chat and I am glad that we decided to come here. Go raibh maith agat!

I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve
Rip off and terrible services.
Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

12/04/2026: Easily the best takeaway in Ireland. Been coming here for as long as I can remember and it has the best battered sausage and a great portion of chips both in terms of size and taste. The staff are extremely friendly every time I am in there and the quality is always reliably great. Couldn't ask for a better local chipper!

21/05/2026: Pizza is good for the price. They charge you extra if you're eating pizza from there. Strange!
The service is not great also. One time they send me a wrong pizza order. They asked me to drive back to make it right when complained. But they kept the old opened pizza box for themselves and gave me the new one. No proper apology. I'd have given both the boxes for the troubles atleast, if i was the manager.
16/05/2026: I Ordered chicken Fried Rice a really simple and easy order when I walked in they asked did I order chicken curry and I said no chicken fried rice but they still got the order wrong. Will not be trusting this place again if they can’t even get a simple order right.
