Staff need training in how to deal with customers. Coming from retail myself it was poor. We both got fish and chips. Nothing to write home about. Hard to say if he chips were homemade or frozen. Won't be returning. Very expensive and tartar is extra which is crazy. €19 for a fish and chips and tartar us another 3.50 extra. Overpriced by at least 6 to 7 euro.

Decent enough portion size for the price but the staff could be friendlier. I also saw them charge a family 1 euro for a small portion of mayo. It would also be nice to have plates and proper cutlery when sitting inside.

We haven’t ate fish and chips like this since Iceland, so fresh and cooked perfectly, nice touch with the real flowers on each table and the counter .

06/06/2026: Had a 3 course here, everything was perfect! Even threw in a birthday surprise. Great staff and good food, good alcohol as well.
05/06/2026: I have my breakfast and lunch here when I stay at the Maritime Hotel. It is a pretty and comfortable restaurant. The staff serving meals is very kind and respectful. I am looking forward to returning in just two days. I love the blue decor; it reminds me of the sea in Florida. The restaurant has large windows overlooking the beautiful Bantry Bay. I am so lucky to have discovered this gem.

08/08/2026: Great Indian restaurant away from the crowds at the port. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Vegetarian options available. No waiting, attentive service, very clean dining room and lovely decor, quiet area. I highly recommend making the detour and avoiding the tourist traps lining the main streets. A wonderful discovery during our Irish road trip in County Cork. I believe the restaurant also offers takeaway. Thank you for a lovely meal. 2 French tourists passing through on 08/08/2026
22/07/2026: Had a delicious meal. Great value for money. Bring your own alcoholic drinks, as they do not serve them.
