19/12/2025: Ordered online some small amount of goods — they were carefully wrapped and arrived swiftly, with care and warming message and a teabag, really well professionally packed, and the selection & variety of goods is impressive, this is what we need more on earth!
15/12/2025: Ordered a christmas present from them a week ago, one of their nice hammered brass bottles. I got a call this week saying it's not in stock, but they have another type if required.
Now I have to go back to my partner and tell them they were getting this present (they mentioned that they loved it) and now it needs to be a different type.
Not happy with the service.

29/07/2026: Staff were pleasant but not hugely observant. To begin, we were given a table, but had to clean it ourselves. Our shared starter of chicken wings were clearly reheats as they were cold in the centre, and when told we got an “oh sorry about that”. Three drinks, one cold starter and two dinners came in at €80
17/07/2026: The fish and chips were very good, but the staff were unpleasant, which is rare in Ireland! They really need to improve!

Great Food: Seafood platter with salmon, crab, brown soda bread, Marie Rose sauce, salad with dressing - and a chocolate of vegetable soup. Unbeatable. Honey roast ham wrap with cheese, Ballymaloe relish. And a portion of chips. Excellent.

25/07/2026: We were at a wedding in Bantry House recently and Paudi catered for the champagne reception etc. I don’t drink but I really enjoyed the non alcoholic cocktails he went to such trouble to make for me! It was an amazing wedding and Paudi really helped to make it extra special for me. Thank you for everything Paudi of the Anchor!
