30/09/2025: Traditional Irish pub! Absolutely loved it. The lady behind the bar was so authentically Irish! So chatty and welcoming. We had a Guinness and a Jameson. Great vibe if you’re looking for a traditional Irish pub. Thank you :)

Food was weeks old, dirty cups but don’t dare complain because you will regret it
17/07/2025: What an amazing cafe. Filled with artefacts from grandma's place. The coffee was superb. The atmosphere awesome. The scones...best I've ever had. Great conversation with Peter who does all the baking himself.

27/05/2025: We were in Bantry a couple of years ago. My brother and I stopped in while our wives were shopping. We had a couple of pints and struck up a conversation with the barkeep. He had spent the summer in California. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

I was a bit skeptical before going to this place because of the recent reviews but my friend insisted on going here it was a great decision. I thought the place wouldn't be clean but surprisingly it was quite clean 🫧. The staff was super kind and nice. They asked us about the food quality. It was great. The place is doing great. I ordered a beef burger 🍔 it tasted really fresh my friends fish 🐠 was also very amazing. The food was served quickly. Idk 🤷🏻 why people are complaining, the place and food was awesome. Next time I will bring my kids as well . I eat my burger really quickly these were the only photos I could click 😭.
Thanks to the staff for an amazing time ☺️.

20/08/2025: Not impressed really, it's OK here. The food is well presented but fairly bland, dressed with sauces to give it some flavour. This really is a restaurant for older people who stay in the hotel. It tastes like mostly frozen products and at hotel prices. Not for me I'm afraid. Not a bad place, just not good enough to return.

The best thing about the restaurant is the interior.
We had mussels in a white wine sauce twice, and until today I didn't realize how bad it could be.
The mussels were dry, lukewarm, and came in a blob of sauce.
They tasted as if they had been cooked for a while and then added to the plate with the sauce.
There was more than enough garlic baguette, but for €18.50, they would have liked a few more mussels (with flavor!).
The water with fresh lemon that was served to clean our hands was still warmer than the mussels, even after we'd eaten.
Unfortunately, a disappointment for an easy-to-prepare dish.

28/07/2025: We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in Moghal Indian Restaurant. Eugene took time to give us recommendations from the menu, depending on our likes and spiciness! He was not at all intrusive while we made our choices. We took Eugene's suggestions which did not disappoint, compliments to the chef, the food was delicious. You can bring your own beer or wine which was brilliant also. Each dish was freshly cooked, piping hot and really tasty. The ambience is relaxed and friendly, special thanks Eugene. Moghal Indian Restaurant in Bantry is well worth a visit as a sit down guest or for a takeaway.

08/05/2025: A weird place for a service station. Very cramped and the fuel is not super cheap. If there are ore than a few cars in the area it is difficult to maneorve. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is a well stocked shop.
