06/08/2024: Had the turkey, bacon, and brie sandwich while waiting for someone at the doctor. It was delicious and the place was really nice. Don’t be fooled by its location next to the clinic - everyone said their food was fantastic.
24/07/2024: Simply tasty quality food. Served with an excellent side salad. An easy yet rarely done side. I’m coming back.

21/09/2024: Fish chips and peas was average but at 18.50 euro a rip off for a cafe. The ceiling is stained and it looks like they haven't spring cleaned since covid. Don't mind a basic cafe and am not a snob but this meal was valued at around the 10 to 12 euro mark tops.
17/09/2024: Food was good but at 18.50 euro for fish chips and peas.. is a rip off in a take away cafe where the roof has stains due to what looks like a leak.. way over the top for fast food in those surroundings...

02/09/2024: We had a delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast here on Sunday while many other restaurants were closed! My yogurt and granola with honey was great, highly recommend for something light. They accommodated our large group of 10+ on the patio and were very friendly and prompt.

24/09/2024: As a new resident to Bantry, I looked for a "Local". I found The Boston Bar not very welcoming to new locals, but I did observe that they welcomed visitors and tourists. I found the locals and the bar staff not to be chatty. They served a great pint, but no atmosphere. I am retired and I did not try the bar at night time. I won't be going back there again.

02/11/2024: Waste of my money, I ordered a chicken dish for 12 euro and got 4 pieces of chicken, the naan bread was cold and had absolutely no garlic taste and it took 45+ mins for all of this to be ready .. very disappointing

Faizal was a wonderful host and he took additional requests for customise food options. Place is hygienic and well maintained to accommodate friends and family.

24/09/2024: Really good food in a warm pub setting: the breaded hake I ordered was perhaps the best plate of fish and chips I’ve had in Ireland and my wife loved her dish of cottage pie. Great service, great atmosphere and good prices,
24/08/2024: Arrives au hasard dans ce pub comme il pleuvait, le lieu était bondé alors nous nous sommes installés à 3 au bar. Une soupe du jour excellente et deux salades. Accueil cordial et service rapide.
