This is definitely the place to go if you want to eat something tasty as a vegetarian or vegan. We were able to find something for everyone. The coffee is absolutely amazing as it is “three fools”. Great experience and happy that they’re there. I would however recommend, to have the food on the counter covered as lots of people stand there have conversations and shake their hair around. We will definitely be back.
Food is genuiely UNREAL.. Portion size is absoloutely TINY though...
If you are looking for the smallest slice of toast in Cork then order a breakfast there... That being said, I'd still go back if that was the only thing..
The VAT9 sign is in the window, which says they are being hit hard and understand that we are also overpaying as a result... This is ironic as a male server with a mullet straight out asks for tips when paying. (I mention his hairstyle as its an identifying feature so the owner can tell him to cop himself on being a pest with the hand out for tips) .. it's frankly rude and makes paying slightly awkward. BTW.. No he is not pointing out the skip button like 99% of restaurant staff do, it's the same everytime, points at the screen and says "TIPS ARE THERE", smile drops when you skip it. Most communication is non verbal isnt it ? Trust me when I tell you he's demanding a tip.
IMO you tip when you pay €100plus for a three course meal....not for pancakes or some eggs on toast in a brunch/lunch spot
Won't be back 👍
