Donemark West in Bantry legal town

Donemark West is a fantastic restaurant in Bantry. This is actually the second time we have eaten here and as we are from the UK, we were looking forward to returning. From the outside it looks very unassuming but once you are inside you will be treated to some great Irish non-fussy gastronomy. Every course we had was beautifully presented and the steak is the standout which melts in your mouth. The service is also first class, very welcoming, polite and attentive.

Probably the best meal I've ever had. Food and staff were exceptional.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner a few weeks ago on a Sunday night (luckily somebody else canceled the reservation!). Very (sometimes even overly) attentive service, small yet assorted menu with exiting combinations, fresh and well prepared food. The only downside was the small table that made it rather difficult to handle all the delicious food we ordered.

A real gem in Bantry Bay, if you're near you should eat here. Have the fillet steak!

Our meal was the most delicious ever. The service was friendly and efficient. The house wine complimented the meal. Would certainly return.
