St Lukes Wine Tavern in Cork

We booked this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was good, but the experience was disappointing overall. Our table was uncomfortable, and the indoor area was far too noisy. We ordered the patatas bravas but were told they had run out of the tomato sauce. However, as we were leaving, we saw the same dish being served with tomato sauce to other tables, which was confusing. Overall, I don’t think the experience justified the price.

Wandered up from our vacation stay and discovered this tapas bar on a busy little corner across from St. Luke’s church. On this hot day in Cork, no one bothered to sit inside but rather on the sidewalk where everyone was cool and jovial. We only had to wait one minute for a table to turn, which was lucky as it seemed like a place where no one seemed rushed. We ordered chicken bites and spicy meatballs that went well with a nice rioja. Service was fast and friendly, and had the cozy neighborhood vibe that made us wish we were staying another few days so we could come back here and chill.

Came while they were doing a soft launch of a new menu. Service was a little off but attribute that to the new menu and staff still adjusting. Everyone was super friendly. Accidentally brought two of one dish and they offered us the second without charge which was wonderful. Food was amazing but the star of the show was the Eaton Mess at the end. Totally worth it even if that’s all you get. Atmosphere was beautiful too…authentic Italian with cute check table clothes and candles with wood accents. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area and want a snack or want to share a few things

Such a fantastic experience in St. Luke’s this evening. The food and wine was amazing, and the service truly made it, the team were exceptional throughout. A special mention to Val, who really stood out and made our night, she’s fantastic!!

My friend and I got this after a recommendation from Reddit and wow, this was seriously the best restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. Food was gorgeous, service was so friendly and efficient, good ambience and even the music. Must visit ‼️‼️

Lovely tapas & wine bar, pre booking required as it’s quite the busy spot. Lovely welcome on arrival. Service was fantastic, very friendly and continually checking in to ensure we were kept satisfied. We shared 6 dishes between 3 of us - spicy meatballs, prawns, lemon sole goujons, pastas bravas, bruschetta & chicken bites. Everything was delicious and a little bit of food left over due the size of the portions. Great wine menu and we enjoyed a tasty Dubai chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Lovely cosy setting throughout to enjoy with friends, family or a romantic meal. Tara & her staff are a credit and I think this is one of Corks finest tapas & wine bar’s. Highly recommend a visit and will definitely be returning
