04/04/2024: Enjoyed a lovely meal here. The service, food and atmosphere all made for a most enjoyable experience. The nibbles starter had amongst other dishes a really tasty hake dip also pleased to say the chicken was free range. Will return and would recommend to friends, etc.
03/04/2024: We had dinner for two at Jacques restaurant. It was absolutely excellent! We had asparagus and mushrooms as a starter, lamb and hake as a main, followed by chocolate and salted caramel tart and medjool as dessert. Every single course blew us away, really. The wines that were offered were excellent too. The servers was extremely professional friendly and personable. Terrific evening. Really recommend this restaurant!

29/03/2024: Amazing atmosphere and best coffee in town by far! I keep coming back. Would recommend for any coffee and brunch lover.
27/03/2024: The first impression is good. There were many young staff in the bartable, but only one lady working) she cared about cleaning when I came, then she brought me my order. Too long to wait for just one coffee and ready cake. Then the price is different between coffee here and take away.

Silver Springs Lounge Bar

02/04/2024: Hotel big, and nice. Recepcionist very kind and helpful. They gave us a room ready 2 hours before checking. Parking very spacious and handy.
There are a few things that make us think about not considered it as a 4 star hotel, like there is only one elevator and too old. Also they don’t have some accessories like slippers or air con. In general old fashion hotel, will need a new fresh air.
*Do not eat in the restaurant.* Totally standard food. 23€ for a Teriyaki salmon with holandeisa sauce. Too dried, no sign of the sauces. I could do that dish in my house for 7€. Also red that curry was meant to be with chickpeas and no sign of the chickpeas, pita bread too dried and hard. The worst 53€ spent on our holiday. Although, the staff were very kind in the restaurant.
Located outside of Cork city center, bus stop 3 min walking from the hotel, bus 214 drop you to the center, station etc.
30/03/2024: This is a nice chain of hotels in Ireland. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has a wonderful breakfast.
