26/07/2025: Auténtico Restaurante Italiano y típico de muchos restaurantes en Cork IT es escaso en el espacio.
Tuve el calamar como entrada (un especial). El único aspecto decepcionante de la comida. IT estaba muy cocido - duro y gomoso. Aunque me encanta la salsa cacciatora e IT cubre todo tipo de pecados. Sin embargo, este restaurante tiene clasificación Michelin y si IT alguna vez aspira a ser una gran proteína de cocción excesiva es un NO.
Mi principal era mucho mejor. Filete de cerdo y cocido a la perfección.
De postre tomé el Tiramisu y IT fue el mejor que he probado.
En general muy bueno con un servicio atento. Decepcionante sobre el calamar. Si cocinas demasiado tíralo IT y empieza de nuevo.

02/08/2025: We visited Cork last weekend from Manchester and were delighted to stumble on this pub on our first night. We spent a few nights here, sat outside watching the world go by and in one of the many snug corners inside listening to some good music. It had a great vibe and atmosphere and seemed to cater for all ages, regulars and visitors. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped point us in the right direction re our visit. The pub is really old and has some nice features, art and stained glass. We looked it up and saw a review where it was listed in the Telegraphs Top 100 pubs. We will definitely call in again next time we visit Cork. 💚

Breakfast - Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royale
18/08/2025: I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. The hotel staff is very friendly, both at reception and at breakfast and in the restaurant.
The beds are super comfortable.
The breakfast is very good.
The pool is very nice and clean; the outdoor pool is simply magnificent.
The hotel staff at reception, breakfast, and at the spa are very kind and welcoming.
One small drawback is that there is no small refrigerator in the room. Please ask the restaurant and bistro staff to lower their plates and glasses.

26/07/2025: We stayed two nights and went back because we enjoyed it so much.
A good Guinness and a very varied spirits and whisky menu.
Live music from 9 to 11 p.m.
The venue has a very thoughtful decor; it's huge and somewhat labyrinthine.

16/08/2025: Consistently good, batter could have been a lot crisper. Mushy peas need seasoning as they tasted very bland. Chips were just about okay, curry sauce was very good . Been coming here since a teenager in the 80s a and it rarely let's you down. Portion size was excellent. Value for money is very good.

Excelente tarta de patata.
(Aparentemente hay un lugar en Cahersiveen que es más barato, pero IT es un poco de trekking para una cena de los jueves)
