30/08/2026: I’m not sure why this place has such rave reviews, it could have been an off day, as the pictures looked fine, I got the Janes brekkie which consisted of soggy clearly store bought pancakes, uncrispy bacon with an off flavour, and what tasted like instant powdered eggs, everything cold, and all mixed together with banana slices, powdered sugar and maple syrup. “Bizarrely bad”, as another reviewed said, is a good way to describe it. This flavour combo didn’t work at all, although salty and sweet can be nice, this was not it. Coffee also wasn’t good either.

28/09/2026: Charged 10e for the New 8.4% 170 years Murphy stout. I only realized after that every other pub in the city is charging between 6-7e. Keep in mind that it is served in a 400 ml glass. Has to be the biggest exploitation of customers I've seen in a long time.

09/09/2026: We had a pre-wedding family get together here, and it worked out great. We had snacks from the pub and we ordered drinks individually from the bar.

28/10/2026: Excellent coffee and pastries! Relatively small place so it would be difficult to find seating for parties bigger than 4. There are a few outdoor tables if you can brave the cold!

24/09/2026: Very cute deli, pre-made sandwiches salad bar and delicious cakes and sweet treats. Very friendly staff and quick service. On line ordering available. Coffee is GOOD!!

01/09/2026: Best pint of Beamish in town (best price too)! The crew behind the bar pour it like bats out of hell, and honestly that’s probably why it’s always so fresh, crisp, and perfect. It’s a small spot with big charm. Great pints, great people, great vibes.

22/10/2026: Thank you for always serving such delicious chicken with vegetables! The portions are generous, and everything is always so tasty. We’re always impressed by the wonderful food, warm atmosphere, and cosy, welcoming surroundings. Every visit is a pleasure, and we always leave happy. Highly recommended!

19/08/2026: Was recommended to try the Nachos by the person behind the registry, who said it's regarded by those wro tried it as one of the best streetfood meals they've had. Must say it did not disappoint, difficult for me to rank but definitelly Top 5 ;)

31/07/2026: Some of Cork’s best vegan food! I went to My Goodness for the first time last week, and I found the food to be absolutely incredible! I ordered the Nachos and they were very filling, extremely good value, and utterly delicious! Will definitely be coming back here :)

04/10/2026: Due to a rare stroke of bad luck, I stumbled upon this restaurant, and what a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was lovely, the food impeccable, and the prices were affordable.

26/09/2026: Had a really good meal at Four Liars Syrian Restaurant! We tried the chicken-filled samosas, and they were crispy, flavorful and delicious. The Syrian biryani was definitely a highlight — really good and full of flavor. We also had the charcoal-grilled chicken fillet, which was fine and nicely grilled. Overall, good food, generous flavors, and a nice experience. Would definitely come back to try more from the menu.

15/09/2026: Chicken Skewers X2. Steamed Rice. You are welcome to an eccentrically odd place with the best sauce that's almost a gravy and when we asked for the recipe I've never heard such an evilly fun laugh. It was mesmerizing. I will go back to Cork to visit JUST because of this place (if not for the other amazing things I got to experience).

30/10/2026: That was by far the best pizza I've ever had in my life! The dough is fluffy, the base is perfect, and the cheese is divine. I would come back again and again and gladly make the walk from the city center. A slice of Irish heaven on earth 🫶

25/10/2026: Pizzas are divine.. thin crust and they don't scrimp on toppings. Hummus and flat bread is a fabulous treat and highly recommended. Great value for money
