04/10/2026: Stunning setting with a view of the waterfall. Exceptional food (the fillet steak cooked on your own hot stone is highly recommended), lovely staff and great drinks.

30/09/2026: The food was acceptable but nothing special. However the noise level was so high that we could not hold a conversation. We will not be back.

10/10/2026: I was really looking forward to eating here as it’s one of the most recommended places I’ve heard of. However, everything was on the sweet and acidic end. The two pasta dishes we got were also slightly underwhelming. Really great concept though!

Almost like returning home after a long journey, but with a little more maturity: rediscovering the simplicity, warmth and soul of Italian food through a different lens. Every dish feels thoughtful, authentic and full of character. But what makes this place truly special is not just the food. The two owners are incredibly welcoming, kind and genuine, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Sunflour is more than a place to eat; it’s a little reminder that sometimes, even far from home, you can find a taste of where you come from and discover it all over again.

21/09/2026: Things have changed unfortunately The cocktails we recieved had u huge singular ice cube which took up 90 percent of the glass so the drink was equivalent to a shot.Got the cheese board also ,it was anothing compared to what it used to be the quantity was a third the size it was last year but still the same price..Staff are great and very helpful, its always been a beautiful bar but I don't think I will get food or cocktails there again.

05/10/2026: Very nice atmosfhere. We came for a beer after a long day, hoping that we'll be served after 10:30h. It is great here, music and energy of the space.

01/11/2026: The staff were friendly, and the flavors were diverse. They were delicious donuts! (The icing was a little sweet.)

26/10/2026: I ordered online to collect from the store and forgot to change the date. I only realised when they rang to ask if I was coming to get to order at the end of the day. They were very understanding and kind and said that I could collect a fresh order at the right time/date with no charge. Excellent experience all around.

10/07/2026: Beautiful hotel and fantastic food! Great staff who are attentive and friendly.

20/06/2026: Staff exceptional, Alan and Connor (bar), John and Johannes (Guest Services), every person we encountered were friendly and made our stay our favorite place to come back. Hotel was great, breakfast very good, rooms were comfortable and spacious.

04/09/2026: Really excellent food and superb service. Our waitress Roísín was extremely friendly and helpful. The quality of food here is sincerely impressive. I had the prawns to start which were devine and extremely tasty. I had the featherblade as my main. I wasn’t expecting it to be so satiating. The layers of flavour were something to behold. Will definitely be returning!

31/08/2026: Always really enjoy coming here with my kids. Just a small note, ye shouldn’t be running out of roast beef at 1:30pm on a Sunday lunch . Not the first time this has happened to us. Food in general is always top notch and great quality. Keep up the great work.
