28/03/2024: It is with sincere regret that I leave this review. My wife has been a huge supporter of Paradiso for over 30 years. As a long term vegetarian Cafe Paradiso was her food refuge, she introduced so many people to this establishment over the years, me included. My wife has a peculiar food allergy that was never a problem before and as usual she called ahead to alert the restaurant. Unfortunately on this occasion it was a problem. The proprietor simply did not want to know, my wife's food allergy could not be accommodated, no apology, no excuse....that's it....***k you customer..... She was devastated, it was like a death in the family. Maybe DC was just having a bad day? She doesn't know I've left this review, she would not want me to do this as she had such good times (and friends) there, I simply cannot let it go as she was so upset.

02/04/2024: A large group of us went there recently and they catered for us very well. Will glady go back again. Pizzas are great but varying up the menu is probably needed.

18/03/2024: Great pub, good choice of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are sound. The interior is cosy and there is a large smoking/out door seating area which has covered/uncovered seating on a sunny day and has a extending canopy for the colder/wet days. Lovely atmosphere and the pizzas a good. Dog friendly too.

27/03/2024: Tequila chicken fettuccine - unbelievably good. Kids food was served fast and at a temperature they could eat. Complimentary colours and pages which was enjoyed by all. Wine was delicious. Staff were courteous and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

30/03/2024: Must stop for craft beer fans. Best selection of beers in Cork, and possibly Ireland. No price penalty for small pours means you can try several beers. Very unique and well thought out selection. Have a few outdoor seats too, which were awesome when the rain stopped

14/02/2024: Excellent service from the staff here who are so knowledgeable about what they sell and are really friendly! A pure gem of a Bar that definitely deserves a visit if you are in Cork City! You won't be disappointed.

03/04/2024: Good place to have a coffee and hang out with friends. The food is quite nice too, especially the sweet treats. The men's bathroom is usually not very clean though.

09/03/2024: We got there because it was one of the few cafes in Cork that was open before 9am. It is a very spacious place with attentive staff and good food. You can see that they also have a lunch menu. I would go back :)

24/03/2024: Had Sunday lunch here. The food and service were very good. But the prices charged were surprising. A vegetarian curry for €20.00 and Sunday roast lamb at €25.00 are just two examples, we thought these are very expensive
