26/04/2026: We had a lovely meal here yesterday ....the 2 meals were really tasty, then went to see The Hothouse flowers playing here. The hotel is very nice and the staff were professional & friendly, we will definitely be back.

The location is excellent, with beautiful coastal views and easy access to nearby walking paths and the town centre. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. While the décor felt slightly dated, everything was in good working order and perfectly adequate for a relaxing stay. The bathroom was spotless, and the housekeeping service was consistent throughout my visit.
I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, where the food was fresh and well prepared, though the menu could benefit from a bit more variety. Breakfast the next morning was satisfying, with a decent selection of hot and cold options.
Overall, I would recommend the Arklow Bay Hotel for a short getaway or weekend break, particularly for those looking to enjoy a peaceful seaside setting without straying too far from Dublin. The leisure facilities, including the pool and gym, were an added bonus and contributed positively to the overall experience. I would stay here again in future.

14/02/2026: The staff are bit rude and constantly disturb you throughout your meal. We had to eat quickly and leave. Please let people enjoy their food in peace. Their behavior is extremely disturbing.

Customer service felt noticeably inconsistent during my visit. While other customers were met with warmth and engagement, my interaction felt significantly less attentive and welcoming. It impacted the overall experience, and I wouldn’t return.
19/04/2026: Very disappointing experience. The café felt unwelcoming from the start, and the staff were rude and dismissive. The coffee was poor, and when I mentioned it, I was told to go somewhere else if I didn’t like it. Not how customers should be treated. Wouldn’t return.
They clearly don’t know what their doing😂

26/05/2025: The food was very good but the service was disappointing. Very slow for everything— ordering, drinks, food, and they got our drinks order wrong (I had to insist when they claimed it was correct, admitting eventually that they had run out of what I ordered.) The waitress actually said “I hope it was worth the wait”!
