01/06/2025: Outstanding local produce - orange egg yolks, the thickest rashers outside of a gammon steak, plump sausages all cooked to perfection. Best black pudding and bacon I've ever had. The tea, coffee, bread, service, atmosphere etc were all excellent too, but the food was top quality and memorable.

01/06/2025: Best Irish breakfast I've had in years. Outstanding quality produce and cooked very well indeed. The coffee was nothing to sniff at either, nicely roasted and brewed.

12/07/2025: A charming place on the canal! They served focaccia at the beginning with the most divine olive oil and balsamic vinegar—a fantastic start. Then we got the ravioli starter and spaghetti carbonara. The ravioli knocked it out of the park!! We could've eaten four plates of that, easy. The fresh homemade pasta was the star of the carbonara dish. All in all, good vibes, good service, good food.

14/06/2025: I normally dont post reviews but this one deserved one. The owner is incredibly rude. The staff is nice and food is good. I actually came here three days in a row and bought a lot of food until i met the owner. He was sooo rude especially to Women!! Being a man he had no respect and was almost yelling! I dont mind following rules but nothing gives you the right to be so pretentious, disrespectful and pathetic. He was also smashing the glasses on the table while cleaning it and had a terrible facial expression. Im honestly shocked this guy had no manners and clearly it showed. I will never visit again and also advise everyone not to come here if you want a civilised, decent time out. Edit : owner says i wasnt a customer but i actually have a picture of my receipt since i dined there three days in a row and no nothing is false the owner was very rude and loud and disrespectful. When asked about the wait time he said “i dont know stand outside i cant have you stand in here” very rudely lol

06/05/2025: Very cosy wine bar with interesting tapas type food. Nice friendly staff but best that you book ahead to guarantee a seat in the main bar (ground floor) Fantastic wine selection and staff are VERY clued in on the fruit of the vine 👍

09/07/2025: Went there with party of six for birthday celebration on Sunday. The food was excelent, we all had different dishes & all agreed their dishes were excellent too, our plates were wiped clean by the end & I had the best spaghetti allo scoglio I've had in Ireland. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place, unfortunately I don't live anywhere near this restraunt but if I did I would definitely be a regular customer.

13/06/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Pottery Restaurant during our recent stay for our Strip and Dip at the Arklow Bay Hotel, and from start to finish, it was a five-star experience. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and inviting – The staff were genuinely lovely – friendly, attentive, and full of local charm. Big shout out to Fernando - I think that is the correct name he was absolutely fantastic. Now the food… WOW. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. I had the Featherblade OMG it was amazing Highly recommend booking a table here, even if you’re just passing through Arklow. We'll definitely be back. A real gem!

14/07/2025: It's was nice with decent menu and they didn't rush us out. A little expensive for adult menu. Kids were ok.

14/07/2025: What a BEAUTIFUL castle experience!! My husband and I got married here on June 5, 2025 and what an amazing experience!! Food was excellent, rooms were so quaint, and the staff so kind!! Can't recommend this castle hotel enough!!
