The mojito was great. I love tiramisu, but this was a 3/5; it's not in the standard form.
The tiramisu cocktail had too much of a coffee flavor; I was expecting a creamier texture.

22/04/2025: Ashling Hotel was a very reliable place for good traditional food. Not anymore. Had a meal there on Easter Saturday. The food was pretty mediocre. A pretty poor attempt at nouvelle cuisine. It would be better if the chef stuck with traditional menus.

01/06/2025: One of the best burgers I've ever had, even when compared to high-end restaurants. Menu includes a large variety of burgers, ranging from normal toppings to unique combinations including mac and cheese, deep fried pickles, pulled pork, you name it! Price is a bit high compared to other takeaways but is well worth it for the quality of food that you get. Would highly recommend this place for any one who loves burgers!

Update: I got up and went over to the bar and asked for service..
Food was nice.
09/06/2025: Child friendly with really helpful staff. My toddler was pouring water on the floor and making a mess and both waitresses cleaned it up with big smiles on their faces, so nice!
The pulled pork wrap is lovely and my son enjoyed his sausage and chips.
Lovely strong coffee too!

15/06/2025: This was the best hotel that I stayed at in Ireland. Everything was very clean, their restaurant was lovely, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the water pipes were damaged due to construction work the day we were leaving, but this did not ruin the experience at all. The hotel also has a very interesting history!
11/06/2025: A wonderful hotel with the best staff willing to go the extra mile. We have loved our stay here again.

03/07/2025: I ordered a mocha, but unfortunately it was extremely hot—I burned my tongue on the first sip. I kindly asked the barista if I could get another one, this time just warm, not extra hot. Sadly, the second one was just as hot as the first, and I still couldn’t drink it.
While I understand that not everyone has years of experience as a barista, it doesn’t take much to know that coffee shouldn’t be served that hot, especially after a specific request. The barista wasn’t rude, but there was zero customer service and no attention to detail. Some basic training could really make a difference.
24/06/2025: Great spot, awesome coffee, matcha and desserts. Loved the friendly atmosphere and the overall artistic vibe. And the drone-perspective prints of Ireland’s coastline make me want to visit them too - so cool!

29/06/2025: Went for lunch, place was quiet. Ordered roast beef...I didn't like the slice of beef I was given so I asked for it to be changed.
The young fella Owen in the kitchen went on to bad mouth me while I was sitting across from the kitchen hearing every word, when I was paying my bill I said to him in a nice way I heard him badmouth me and as a customer I have a right to change food if I don't like it, he just kept smirking at me and again made a smart comment to me then turned the volume up on his music and start dancing.
Not very professional and very childish in my opinion it has turned me off going here.
The rest of the staff were lovely unfortunately it just takes 1 bad egg!!
29/06/2025: Stopped by for a family dinner with our adult children. Steak on the stone was amazing, wings were perfectly cooked and so tasty. Chef Eoin really out did himself looking after us. Full tummies and empty plates all round.
