28/07/2025: Great place for a camper van stop over. If you eat or drink stay for free. Pizza's are unreal. Eoin and Audrey lovely people. We stayed here when we went to the Wolfe Tones in Thomand park😊😊

And 2 had the crab claws, they were just so good, the garlic butter was the perfect accompaniment. But the eating area next to the shop was draughty and the service, while polite servers, was a little haphazard

17/11/2025: We visited for the festive afternoon tea. When I asked about the price by email, I was told it was €44 with prosecco included. They served mulled wine with the afternoon tea, and we were told it was included in the price. However, at the restaurant we were charged extra for the prosecco, and the festive afternoon tea itself was €45. I had to ask for a new glass because the first one had lipstick on it. The quality of the food was fine and the tea was okay. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and very helpful. However, the experience didn’t feel very festive. Aside from a large Christmas tree in the room, there wasn’t much decoration. The setup also didn’t match the festive presentation shown on their Instagram, which was disappointing

27/10/2025: Disappointing Afternoon Tea Experience. Wasted time and money. We chose Earl Grey tea, but it was cheap and weak, with no real flavor. The teapot was dirty, and the teaspoon was poor quality and looked unwashed. Everything felt careless and unhygienic. Very disappointing, so pitty but not recommended at all.

19/10/2025: 13 of us stayed due to a family get together. Really great hotel. Loved the comfy, cosy beds. Had the best sleep. Plus a wonderful full sized bath. Food was great. The hotel itself is clean and smart. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

09/09/2025: I ordered oven baked cod, but it seemed to be cooked from fozen. Menu didnt mention breaded either and came without any sauce. Food ok, but not what i expected. raised the issue with the owner, who became defensive. Wouldnt advise avoiding as some of the dishes are clearly of high standard.

07/06/2025: Hemos sido visitantes regulares a la hora del almuerzo de este lugar durante un par de años, pero lamentablemente, la calidad ha estado disminuyendo. Los precios están subiendo, mientras que las porciones se están reduciendo. Nuestro reciente almuerzo del sábado fue un fracaso. El ciabatta BLT era una mitad y estaba increíblemente empapado, desmoronándose y literalmente goteando por todo el plato. Las alitas de pollo con salsa picante eran una broma - sin calor, seco, y parecía microondas. La salsa de queso azul sabía más a mayo con un toque de queso azul. El sándwich de coronación de pollo también estaba apagado, con sabores que no encajaban. Es una lástima, ya que hemos tenido alguno - fuera de percances antes (como encontrar un pelo en nuestra pasta de gambas) , pero esta visita fue la peor. Con suerte, renovarán su menú y servicio.

25/09/2025: Went for dinner, but when we got to the door, it was locked. The place appears to be closed. Only a bar around back is still open.

13/08/2025: I used to love going here i went for food 27 jul with the family it was awful fish had so much grease on it and chips were terrible a pint was 7.80 I won't be going back and coffe machine is still broke what are the new owners doing?

20/11/2025: Went for a coffee takeout today, unbelievably rude staff (man and woman couple) who seem to own the place. Likely will not come back here again, and to avoid at all costs.

17/11/2025: Absolutely love this café! The coffee is always fresh and full of flavour. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and quick with service. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. A perfect spot for breakfast or a quick coffee break. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: We popped in here for a late family meal & it exceeded all expectations, all dishes were fresh & lovely & the staff were great. Also very reasonable price wise. Would definitely recommend.

08/09/2025: People are nice. Just the food was nothing like any real Chinese I have ever had, which does not necessairly mean it tasted bad. It was weird and lazy, or probably for non-Asian clientile.
