29/10/2024: Great food and atmosphere, great portions and good value, added bonus of BYO with good wine selection

21/10/2024: Food couldn’t of been faulted, but service was not up to standard as in my opinion as a group we where very polite and mannerly as always, while a waitress was sharp and condescending, this is the first time we have ate out as a group and not left a tip. We picked this place because of its good reviews from people we know, it didn’t meet our expectations.

25/10/2024: Service is absolutely atrocious. Family of 4 walked in at 6:15pm on a Friday evening and by 7pm not a single soul approached the table to take a drink or food order. Way past its hey day and the stench of BO was repugnant to say the least. Food and service was excellent this time last year, sad state of affairs, hopefully management can take control and return to past glories.

22/10/2024: A very friendly pub with plenty of space on a Friday night. Apparently it's full of students during the week but let them enjoy themselves.

24/07/2024: Tea-time: zalige ervaring met zowel hartige als zoete hapjes, scones en uitmuntende thee naar believen. Ook de hapjes kon je bijvragen, ik raad aan alelszins 's middags NIET te eten. De gerechtjes waren zeer verfijnd, ware kunstwerkjes. Zeer elegante en discrete bediening maar maken toch tijd voor je vrij om een foto te maken van je gezelschap.

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

No matter how often we go, we’re always impressed by the quality and flavors. The staff and owners make us feel right at home—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for everyone. It’s rare to find a place that’s this reliable and welcoming, and Cafe Grey has truly become our go-to spot. Can’t recommend it enough!

03/09/2024: Food was ok wasn't the nicest and I felt a little expensive for breaded fish and chips. Service was excellent and fast .

13/10/2024: Been here a few times and has always delivered tasty food. Wide selection and havent even tried the burgers yet. The BBQ box or falafel (if want veggie option) are both great ways to sample some of the range
