04/04/2025: Bland menu - 80% is Chorizo based. Very little beef or fish. We ordered a variety of dishes, one of which was potatoes and chorizo which arrived with absolutely no seasoning or sauce, literally just tiny cubes of chorizo with over fried potato cubes. We also ordered chorizo sausage which arrived as a simple pork sausage! Really disappointing. Drink was overpriced with a glass of prosecco at €10 and bottle beer at €7.50. The terrace was cold and empty with no attempt at heating or comfort. The entire experience was bad. We have been many times before but have noticed a gradual decline in quality and menu options. Sandly we won't be returning again. It's become overpriced and not worth the effort.

13/05/2025: Ah, No. 27 — where the wine is exquisite, the staff are immaculately polite, and everyone seems to be quietly auditioning for the next season of The Crown. The décor whispered “old money”, the lighting murmured “you don’t belong here”, but the wine said “stay a little longer”. We were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, but there was definitely a faint aroma of... exclusivity. Not snobbery exactly — more like a gentle reminder that your jacket should’ve been tailored and your shoes should’ve cost more than your flight. Still, the wine list was truly fantastic. If you’re looking to sip something elegant while pretending you know what “oaky with a hint of leather” means, this is your spot. Would I return? Yes — but next time I’ll wear cufflinks and Google “how to hold a wine glass correctly”.

25/04/2025: Popped in for Sunday Lunch as we do any time we are staying in Bundoran. We got seated right away with no booking, but we came at a great time as unfortunately, anyone after us had to wait as there were bookings coming in. The Vegetable Soup for starters was delicious and we opted for the Roast Beef with Peppercorn Sauce and it was also very nice. Left us not fit for dessert!! All of the staff are extremely friendly and quick to accommodate to needs. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area or passing through!

25/04/2025: The best lunch I've had in ages! I had been here before, so I knew it was going to be good. I ordered the Garlic Mushrooms. I've had stomach surgery, so smaller portions are best for me...this was absolutely perfect. The mushrooms were super fresh, coated and cooked fresh, juicy and cooked to perfection. The garlic mayonnaise was delicious and the salad in the middle had a good mix of ingredients, not too much purple cabbage, hardly any red onion, and just a drizzle of dressing! Happy Tums all the way home.

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

19/05/2025: Dreadful. Daylight robbery prices. Was expecting so much more. 16.50 for a for chips, and a few shredded goujons...Asked for a jug of water at least twice. Nothing.

25/04/2025: Visited in March with a family group of 17. Due to the layout of the restaurant we were on 3 tables but for us it didn't matter. Head waitress was there to answer any queries and really looked after our family. Food was excellent as always with lots of choice. We visit regularly and will continue to do so.

19/04/2025: Wonderful food. Called in as we were passing and ordered the carvery. Generous portions of piping hot food which was delicious. All the staff were friendly so overall it was a lovely experience

17/05/2025: They used to do a really nice whiskey sour. Now it’s some absolute garbage from a tap. Same price mind.

05/05/2025: Una vez venerado por las mejores alas de Dublín. Tuve la desgracia de comer en la hiedra esta noche. El plato era una combinación de aros de cebolla congelados y recalentados y un trozo de pollo impar triple que parecía un muslo, pero no lo era. Discutido con la comida. Preferiría ir a Islandia para una mejor selección de productos transformados. Atrás quedaron los días de buenas alas.

20/12/2024: Great food for Christmas corporate Lunch

23/04/2025: Stopped for some lunch when passing through. Relatively small menu, as expected for a cafe, but the options were so nice that I struggled to choose. Went for a pulled pork ciabatta and my wife had a ham and cheese toasties. Herself was also impressed by the cute teapot and saucer set her tea was served in. The food was fantastic, with quality and quantity to suit the €9 per sandwich price.

19/04/2025: Horrendously rude woman who I think is one of the couple who operates the place. She shouldn't be in a customer facing business.

10/05/2025: Went there today with the family, service was fine but the food was awful. Undercooked fries and rubbery chicken. They forgot to give me my milkshake, I actually didn’t even notice this until about an hour after I left, to be honest considering how bad the food was they probably did me a favor.
