19/06/2025: A picturesque place with traditional food. The dishes are well-prepared and of high quality. Fish or seafood are a must, as they specialize in seafood. Excellent service and no waiting. It's best to eat on the terrace and enjoy the breeze.

18/06/2025: Nice enough place with good touristy atmosphere, clean seating and friendly staff. Ordered the Dublin Bay Prawns; nice enough, but fairly minimal portion for €17 considering it consisted of only 9 small prawns and a slice of bread. The real kicker was the piece of steel wool we found in the broth - staff and manager were apologetic and offered to take it off of our bill but there’s a fairly basic level for restaurants to meet and this wasn’t it. Didn’t stay for the main course - left and went elsewhere.

13/05/2025: Ah, No. 27 — where the wine is exquisite, the staff are immaculately polite, and everyone seems to be quietly auditioning for the next season of The Crown. The décor whispered “old money”, the lighting murmured “you don’t belong here”, but the wine said “stay a little longer”. We were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, but there was definitely a faint aroma of... exclusivity. Not snobbery exactly — more like a gentle reminder that your jacket should’ve been tailored and your shoes should’ve cost more than your flight. Still, the wine list was truly fantastic. If you’re looking to sip something elegant while pretending you know what “oaky with a hint of leather” means, this is your spot. Would I return? Yes — but next time I’ll wear cufflinks and Google “how to hold a wine glass correctly”.

07/06/2025: I should have read reviews. After my long cliff walk I was hungry for some fish and chips. Not worth it. I sat outside and that was pleasant enough for me to have a good experience but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

06/06/2025: Excellent food, not cheap but you get what you pay for, the staff are great, generally come here twice or three times a month.

25/04/2025: Visited in March with a family group of 17. Due to the layout of the restaurant we were on 3 tables but for us it didn't matter. Head waitress was there to answer any queries and really looked after our family. Food was excellent as always with lots of choice. We visit regularly and will continue to do so.

19/04/2025: Wonderful food. Called in as we were passing and ordered the carvery. Generous portions of piping hot food which was delicious. All the staff were friendly so overall it was a lovely experience

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

17/05/2025: They used to do a really nice whiskey sour. Now it’s some absolute garbage from a tap. Same price mind.

05/05/2025: Una vez venerado por las mejores alas de Dublín. Tuve la desgracia de comer en la hiedra esta noche. El plato era una combinación de aros de cebolla congelados y recalentados y un trozo de pollo impar triple que parecía un muslo, pero no lo era. Discutido con la comida. Preferiría ir a Islandia para una mejor selección de productos transformados. Atrás quedaron los días de buenas alas.

07/06/2025: Hemos sido visitantes regulares a la hora del almuerzo de este lugar durante un par de años, pero lamentablemente, la calidad ha estado disminuyendo. Los precios están subiendo, mientras que las porciones se están reduciendo. Nuestro reciente almuerzo del sábado fue un fracaso. El ciabatta BLT era una mitad y estaba increíblemente empapado, desmoronándose y literalmente goteando por todo el plato. Las alitas de pollo con salsa picante eran una broma - sin calor, seco, y parecía microondas. La salsa de queso azul sabía más a mayo con un toque de queso azul. El sándwich de coronación de pollo también estaba apagado, con sabores que no encajaban. Es una lástima, ya que hemos tenido alguno - fuera de percances antes (como encontrar un pelo en nuestra pasta de gambas) , pero esta visita fue la peor. Con suerte, renovarán su menú y servicio.

15/07/2025: I know 5 across the board seems to good to be true but listen the times me and my partner came to this place it’s always been a pleasant experience, staff are always very kind and welcoming, food is always tasty leaving you full, drinks are refillable and the vibe inside is great the seating is comfy can’t go wrong, now given We’ve only ever been when it hasn’t been packed but there is enough space you won’t feel claustrophobic if you do dine in on a busy day, and location is great right by the harbour and a short walk to an ice cream stall

15/07/2025: Went today to Rockets for the 1st time today....food was delish and do fresh and the staff were so nice and polite....Will be back

08/06/2025: Love this Cafe and visit whenever we are in Greystones . Their scones are the best I've ever tasted and the Coffee is tops too .

29/05/2025: Avoid this place, the staff are so unbelievably rude it literally beggars belief that this is a customer facing environment. There are plenty of other good options within walking distance. Not worth giving your money to this establishment. Reading the other reviews on here, I’m not on my own in saying this.

04/07/2025: Too expensive for what you get. Lovely ambience, nice friendly staff, I have to say it is a good menu, lots of vegan options. Veggie spring rolls with white cabbage in them, bland. Veg kung po with noodles nice, tofu was relly nice.
