20/09/2026: Took 30mins for the waitress to take our order. Food and coffees didn’t arrive for an hour. One persons meal didn’t arrive until a further 20mins after the hour we had all been waiting. The waitress was not polite when I asked if we could sit outside. They gave us two cookies to make up for the delay. Lack of professionalism and service overall.

06/09/2026: We were extremely disappointed with our experience today, which completely ruined the mood for my friend and me. After placing our order, our coffee and desserts were forgotten until we had to remind the staff. To make matters worse, instead of the carrot cake and apple pie we ordered, we were brought two apple pies without anyone checking with us first—simply because the carrot cake was sold out. The apple pie was hands down the worst I have ever tasted. On top of everything, the restrooms were very dirty. It is so frustrating to see such appalling service and poor quality in such a beautiful location

25/08/2026: Excellent food, there was fresh, delicious produce used in the food. Chips were the best I've had in a while. Portions were large. Overall a place I will definitely return to. It was leaning towards the more pricey of places however don't let that influence you. 5 stars all round.

18/08/2026: Nice chips but not too good for gluten free. We phoned a few hours before and were told there were lots of gf options but when we arrived there were only burgers without the bun and no battered sausage as the sausages had gluten in them. We were told the gf chips would be labelled but they weren't (gf burger was labelled). Staff had limited knowledge of gf but was well listed on the website. Bit of a shame about the lack of gf options as we visited a few years ago and were told one of the owner's sisters was coeliac. Pickles weren't pickled but more like cucumber slices.

06/07/2026: Perfect meals, professional waitresses, beautiful environment and atmosphere, clean, noise level quiet even with a busy room.

26/04/2026: Spacious seating arrangements …. Pleasant staff. Decent menu.

04/09/2026: Lovely spot, Aaron at reception was very friendly and helpful... Beautiful renovation, but could do with a comfortable seating area to have a few drinks after dinner 👍

19/09/2026: Lovely restaurant with a wide range of options and the best seafood, my bro & I had the 'Seafood Chowder' (the best one I've tried anywhere) and a plate of 'Cork Muscles' to share. 5 stars for food & service 👍

27/05/2026: The very best dinner out I had in a very long time! I had the Killibegs Salmon with Chefs Seafood sauce. It was absolutely delicious. As I like to cook myself I had lost my faith in eating out, because I often feel I could have done better myself. But not here. We will certainly be back for more !

08/09/2026: Nice food, and great coffee(Nicks). Unfortunately the older counter assistant (owner) was not the most pleasant . Younger staff/waiting staff much more attentive pleasant

25/09/2026: Absolutely unbelievable Chinese restaurant in Cobh. My work colleague has been raving about this place for years, and after hearing him talk about the House Special like it was a Michelin-starred spiritual experience, I finally had to investigate. Apparently he doesn’t even look at the menu anymore. Walks through the door, makes eye contact with the staff and simply says, “House Special.” At this stage I’m fairly sure they start cooking it when they see his car turning the corner. The man has ordered it so many times that I genuinely believe the chef knows his blood type. Food is absolutely class, portions are generous, and the House Special seems to contain enough ingredients to keep an entire village going through winter.
