Wan Fu in Cobh

Absolutely unbelievable Chinese restaurant in Cobh. My work colleague has been raving about this place for years, and after hearing him talk about the House Special like it was a Michelin-starred spiritual experience, I finally had to investigate. Apparently he doesn’t even look at the menu anymore. Walks through the door, makes eye contact with the staff and simply says, “House Special.” At this stage I’m fairly sure they start cooking it when they see his car turning the corner. The man has ordered it so many times that I genuinely believe the chef knows his blood type. Food is absolutely class, portions are generous, and the House Special seems to contain enough ingredients to keep an entire village going through winter.

Very good service. Only people dining in. Waitress was very nice. Will be coming back. Dont know what the 1 star reviewers are smoking.
