13/08/2026: This is a lovely place in a lovely town, we felt like we were at home!

09/08/2026: It looks small from the outside, but there is a larger outdoor space inside. I went around 9 PM on Saturday and missed the performance, but it was very crowded. Everyone seemed to be locals, and the atmosphere was friendly, with everyone knowing each other. I had Murphy's and Beamish, and both were appealing for their rich foam. The restrooms were also quite clean.

20/08/2026: Honestly, the matcha latte here is really good... I would definitely go back!

11/08/2026: Nice little café right by the waterfront in Cobh. We sat outside, had our coffee and just enjoyed watching all the tourists walking around. Really nice atmosphere. The coffee was good and the pastries were even better. We tried the Danish Special with toffee custard and the chocolate bun filled with chocolate. Both were really tasty. The service was great too. The girl working there was on her own and the café was quite busy, but she was doing her best to look after everyone. A nice place to stop for coffee and something sweet when you’re in Cobh.

23/08/2026: We ordered food for a family gathering including a birthday cake. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially considering we had several coeliacs to cater for. Birthday cake, gluten free cake and the party food were absolutely delicious - highly recommend Ellen’s.

09/08/2026: The dishes have a very nice, balanced flavor and aren't overly salty, which is a big plus. The servings were also plentiful. However, the service staff could be a little more resourceful, but with a little guidance, like a child's hand, I could give them five stars for these hard-working and nice people and theVery Big thanks for do not asking me "is everything ok?" every five minutes. Their seafood chowder is a class.

11/09/2026: All was okay and kind of perfect, service nice, fast welcoming, atmosphere bot loud at all so as a restaurant climate perfect, food was excelent but little but, as a starter chowder soup was a big surprice in a bad way, huge portion of soup ( liquid) but like 10% of fish meat inside like very bad. Othervise all good just chowder soup need to imrprove. I can recomend this restaurand and would in future if someone will ask.

02/09/2026: Absolute seod of a traditional pub in Cobh. Properly cozy atmosphere, locals and staff who actually seem happy you’re there, and then there’s Candy the dog—who immediately becomes the main event and steals the entire show. Pints poured like they mean it, solid craic, and one of those rare stops that sticks with you. Perfect if you want to dodge the cruise ship tourist crowds. Easily one of the best in town.

13/06/2026: We loved this bar! The owners were warm and very welcoming! We ended up going here three or four times during our visit to Cobh. We tried going to a couple of the other bars in town, and did not experience the same warmth. Paul, the owner, was awesome! You couldn’t ask for a friendlier place!

04/06/2026: Popped into this quite pub to grab some drinks. The hospitality was excellent. Lots of smiles and some Irish humor. Needless to say my family and I spent that afternoon and the next being treated like family. Highly recommend the atmosphere!
